Yeah, I found some body armour and common weapons. I was hoping for something interesting, given how difficult it is to access.

I love the plane and mission, but it seems awkward that R* put this outrageously big plane into the game, yet it can't land on most runways.
McKenzie field: Hell no.
Sandy Shores Airfield: Possibly, with a lot of luck.
Fort Zancudo: Nope.
Los Santos International Airport: Yes, but the runways are still quite narrow, and there's nowhere to park it. All three runways at LSX are used, and planes would clip the Cargo Plane if they were taking off, landing, or taxiing.

It's probably built to fit the mission requirements. It needed to be large enough to hold two four-wheel drives side-by-side and include a deck for soldiers to fire down into the fuselage.

I'm kind of disappointed that there was nothing there. I actually find the wreckage of jet planes and the ruins of boats to be incredibly creepy. There's no music outside the ambient noises, and they're usually so deep that light can't penetrate deep enough to see, so there's always a threshold of inky blackness that you have to cross. And then the massive vehicle sits there, silent and immobile.

I actually think that it's the silliest mission in the game. It's completely over-the-top, and it feels fairly restrictive in terms of going off-script.

It's a bit like Pierce Brosnan escaping a solar-powered death ray by driving an ice dragster off a cliff and then parasailing down the tsunami created by the death ray calving an iceberg in Die Another Day.

I agree, it's like Trevor does it just because it's Merryweather. But to be fare he does hate them ALOT

Wasn't there a place on the social club where you could browse player created events online and add them to your game? If so, I can't remember where it is.

TheIvaneh, GTAmissions, and their friends on YouTube have made several videos of really interesting Cargo Plane stunts. Things like multi-plane transfers with cars, jumping from one plane to another, mid air demolition derbies, etc.

I can't download any of that. I don't have Xbox Gold membership.

To those unaware, it's possible to find user created mission through this page. That link leads to the PS3 jobs, but it can, quite obviously, be changed. :D

So, with a quick visit to the barber shop, I've got Michael looking like a Pierce Brosnan who hasn't aged well (and let's be honest - the Brozzer hasn't). One drunken joyride in a JB700 later and a police car has collided with a dump truck and the two have jackknifed over the edge of an elevated highway while I'm holding the police at bay with the water cannon on a fire truck.

Sounds like a fun day at the office

Not for Pierce. The chase ended up going deep into Blaine County, where I tried to shoot down a police helicopter with the homing missile, but picked out a crop duster instead. After fighting across the farmyards on foot, I hijacked a boat and tried to escape across the Alamo Sea. That proved to be short-lived when the helicopter I didn't shoot down got my engines and I was forced to dive out before it exploded when I collided with the boathouse. I finally got wasted whilst making a last stand in the cul-de-sac, but not before getting a five-star rating for wiping out a few waves of SWAT teams.

At least you died in style

Edit: Had a super jump on Frank's bike, video will be uploaded soon

Working on the platinum for this game on PS4. Over 82% game progress now. Still have to get the rest of the letter scraps, about 12 stunt jumps and 8 knife flights along with a few hobbies/pastimes.

Also have to go back and replay a mission due to a trophy glitching out. Read the workaround for that is to disconnect from the internet on the console and play the mission. Hopefully it works because I don't want to do a second playthrough just to get a trophy that's 70% of the way through the story line.

I'm 65% away or so but I don't go for platinum.

The workaround worked. In case anyone is wondering, "The Moment of Truth" is the trophy that is bugged.
Oh, when ****** finds ******'s ***** in ****** and the Chinese try to kill Michael because of Trevor

Next time, take the train :)

Quick question: if I use cheats, trophies are disabled. The game notifies me by stating that trophies will not be awarded "for this session". Okay, cool... but if I turn them off again can I earn trophies...?

Can someone define a "session"?
