Spring 2013 that's ages away. I was hoping like January, February.

Although conveniently close to my birthday.

January is a terrible time to release a big game, it was always going to be more like March to May.

Was it an official looking one like this? It's not uncommon for stores to use placeholder dates.

It was an official 'looking' one. Not as elaborate as that though. Couldn't be sure if it actually was, it could have been a placeholder. It was A5(ish). I asked the guy behind the counter if they had a date and he said spring next year is what they have been told.

Edit: If you look at the display above. The image I saw in game looked the same as the top corners of that.
The black section with just GTA and the two logos then the console logos and Spring 2013.

Oh and incase anyone didn't notice, Only the 360 and PS3 logos are on that poster so it looks like once again PC gamers are going to have to wait for the best version.

I was confused why they had the PS3 spine on them at first then I realised they're for the temp boxes they put out on the shelves before they have final artwork.

If those are real,which I'm sure they are, I'm very excited for the return of ATV's. That was one of the things I've really been hoping for.

I agree. I have said it many times but they need to bring back everything from Vice City and San Andreas and put it into GTA5. All the vehicles, all the fun. We sure as heck better be able to buy property!! So far it sounds like they are listening to the community. 👍

Still really hoping they do something more with the co-op campaign modes. I would love to see a full co-op campaign but if they dont do that, then at least add a lot more co-op modes. Getting very excited for this game. If its anything like San Andreas and Vice City then I will be very happy. I am expecting it around April 2013. April is when they released GTA4.

I am expecting to see actual gameplay video in the very near future. Probably early November.

I agree that everything from SA and VC needs to return, along with more. That would make this top the rest of them.


Wonder if the orange hazey sky is return as suggested in the 1st picture.

I'd love to buy property, as well as being able to build an empire like in VCS. I enjoyed that. 40k every few days was awesome.

If there is one thing they need to bring back from VC it's the soundtrack! Best soundtrack ever in a game and it's not exactly uncommon for there to be a 'classic' radio station, in fact here in the UK we have a station dedicated to the 80s. I would love to have that in V.

Vice City FM in EFLC did bring a nice flavour of VC to Liberty City.

I agree. So many great songs ranging especially on the V rock station. Anytime I hear ANY of these songs I think of the moments of flying around in Vice City for hours and hours. Not to mention the other stations too.

I am kinda wondering the same thing. Usually they announce an "official" release date......then it gets bumped just before that date.

In order to meet the April release date they would have to start releasing gameplay videos within the first couple weeks of November. So if we start seeing videos next week, April could happen.
