I had a hunch the Story DLC was probably dead, but no Heist vehicles & now, no Lowrider vehicles feels like just giant kick in the nuts to offline players. The only joy I see from all of this is watching the Online fanbase finally turn on Rockstar because of the ridiculous amount of money needed to actually buy & fully customize the low riders.

Guessing this may be my last GTA game based on Rockstar's desire to just cater to the Online world, which could easily end up affecting the next title.

I know I won't buy another GTA game until I know it won't be a total grind and waste of time.

This far in, it might be that the single player DLC is going to be far-reaching and time consuming. A 1992 skin over the city and a new story perhaps.

So for unknown reasons, Rockstar thought it would be a great idea to increase the cost to repair your car. Before, to repair your car, it would cost you around $100 to $300. Now you have to pay over $1000. *Depends, if your car isn't that badly damaged, it would cost you $70.*

Well... Just why did this had to happen?

Only for upgraded lowriders though. And why not repair in your own garage when it's free?

I thought it was for all cars. Will check to make sure when I get back home.
Best sort of update would be to port Liberty City over and let us fly in between. Pipe dream though. Still the rumours of a casino update, that may cool the communities issues with high price mods.
Didn't Rockstar said they have no plans for a casino update? Most of the rumours anyways were leaks that were possibly made up by YouTubers just to make money. Not all the leaks are fake as we had many of them that got added to the game such as the Faction and the Gold Metal paint job as well as the Hydra.

Speaking about leaks. *And its a good one as it can be transferred to the game.* Someone found some interesting halloween content recently. I will post it when I get back home because YouTube is blocked or restricted to educational content in my school. :(

I'm getting the bad feeling that R* are replacing EA in terms of money grabbing. I mean why can't I spend those idiotic amounts of dollars of low rider mods offline to experiment with before going online and doing them there to save online money?

Ohhhh wait, those damn cards...

Look what I decided to make :P

Ignore the final hairpin, it wouldn't let me make it that tight. :(

Finally re-downloading GTA5 on my PC at a snails-like pace of 1.9mb/s. Only mods I will be doing this time around are billboards and cars so hopefully the same FPS issues don't pop up. Wish I was knowledgeable enough to make my own cars...

Which mods did you have the last time?

I had VisualV graphics mod, I also had a new skybox with better night sky. Some building modified, street names, billboards and of course some cars. I have a feeling it was the skybox, but not sure. Instead of trying to pinpoint it, I just want to start over.

51%!

So, the good news is, I finally downloaded and installed GTA V for PC after having it sitting in my library for ages. The BAD news is that I'm currently running at around 130MB more than my laptop's video card can actually handle (900/768), so I either have to work with horrible pop-in or an unplayable framerate. The sooner I can afford a decent PC the better...

Update on this, after initial installation all appeared fine, but after a few car mod installations it's frame rate drop city all over again. Especially on the main Vinewood road (where the big movie theater and big Sprunk sign are) is the worst offending area for some reason. I tend to have less drops out in the countryside.

At this point I'm just going to live with it. But I do intend on upgrading my graphics card at some point and adding more RAM specifically for video editing. Maybe those will help. :indiff:

I wish you the best. Go get some awesome cars. :D

I downloaded like 20 of them last night, just have to install. :) But some of them replace cars I am using already or don't want to replace, so will have to figure that out. I already replaced the Bison with this:
