GTAWiki says these are all the ways to acquire it

• Save the game and redo the mission, The Jewel Store Job and pick the cheapest driver. During the getaway, you will receive the Bati 801 RR. Reload the game, and the bikes should spawn in which you can steal and save.
• Can be bought for $15,000 from Southernsanandreassuperautos.com (Online only)
• Can be found in La Puerta when driving a Felon.
• Can be found in a parking spot off on Clinton Avenue in Downtown Vinewood.
• Can be found parked at the Los Santos Customs in Burton while driving a Buffalo.
• Can be found on Milton Road in West Vinewood usually riding in a group with a few other bikes.

IMO the only things GTAIV has better than V is the ragdoll physics (especially in shootouts) and more realistic handling (although I prefer V's handling).

Maybe it's part of the handling physics, but in IV you could drive right up to rocks with a 4x4 and gently climb on to them. This is rarely possible in V, which is annoying.

I do remember this. It worked particularly well for the Patriot. However, all of the SUVs and sports cars had way too much body roll/suspension travel. Try taking a Cavalcade around a turn and see how far the truck leans. It doesn't need to be a fast corner, either.

And it's because of this that car mods for IV can be a bit of a pain, as quite a few times you can get a car mod and it'll end up rolling over at the slightest of turns.

Body roll wasn't really that bad until you got a sports car and realized it had the same amount of body roll as everything else.

Two things

- finally after trying all the steps on that GTAWiki on how to get the bati 801rr with no success i'm finally convince that this bike is not available offline only online

2- stuck at 99.5 with 40/42 hobbies and pastimes. lift but i have no idea which once those two that are missing are.

So i check with the rockstar social club site and tennis and the golf thing was the 2 hobbies and pastime missing

The tennis game was easy to win but the golf thing not so much. For the fact i don't understand golf or watch it ever. Took me 10 games before i realized that all you have to do is just keep the ball in fairway in regulation I think?? in which case it doesn't matter how many shots it takes you to get the ball in the hole

The Bati 801RR can be found offline as well but it's really random. Sometimes I would find it just driving around like any other bike. Remember: whenever you're looking for it, they never appear. Just screw around and eventually you'll find one.

I like the fact that R* tried to change up the car spawns so we don't see the same thing in traffic all the time, but it was so convenient in GTA IV to just drive one car in a certain location to get your desired car or bike.

Hospital bills. There was no $5000 maximum in this game.

Actually, I remember the cap on hospital bills in IV being $10k.

Atm's were a great way to make money early on in the game.

Do the npcs even use them in V?

No, the cash machines throughout the city. You could stand there, wait for an unsuspecting victim to take their money out the wall and then rob them. In single player.

I never tried it in V.

They didn't really have much of a use, as all it did was tell you how much money you had, which showed up in game anyway if you pressed down on the d-pad.

Decided to start a new save so that I can "All's fare in love and war" and the "Close Shave" trophies. I just today got the "Solid Gold, Baby" trophy and I only have 2 left for Platinum.

My 100% save has 49/50 bridges flown under and the property missions are glitched meaning I couldn't get one of the trophies.
Anyway, new save and I am starting the bridges again. Cannot get a freakin' helicopter anywhere and as its the start of the game, cannot buy one. The mavericks will not spawn at the hospital. Any ideas?

I think a black frogger lands at Vespucci Helitours helipad when you approach it. If you wait til it lands (or shoot the pilot once it is really close to the ground) you should be able to get it.

I have been doing speed runs between there and the hospital but no luck. The must frustrating thing is that I actually had one from the mission where you kidnap Mr K from the FIB office by abseiling down the building. When it was over I switched to Trevor who flies it away and got a couple but then the game forces you into the next mission where you have to torture Mr K so I lost it.

But, and I'm not sure on this one as it's what I always did at that point in the game, I think you need to have landed at the airfield when switching to Trevor for it to spawn afterwards. Best to check the airfield anyway.

Yeah I did, I remember it now because Trevor spray-painted all over it. Im onto the aquaduct bridge though and had to get a Buzzard. Pain in all the body parts.
