@JASON_ROCKS1998 Whats the quickest way to get a plane without purchasing it? The Mallard or Vestra? Its for the knife flights.

There should be some small planes parked near the hangars at LSIA but you'll need to buy a plane hangar (about 250k) to get in without a wanted level.

There's also the Lazer's that spawn at Zancudo

To anyone who has the close shave trophy.
I have a save with 50/50 bridges but it glitched and the story missions will not progress anymore. I dont have enough money to buy a mallard or a hanger (1.4M). If I use my other save (bridges glitched at 49/50) to get the knife flights, will the trophy pop?

Thanks, Im gonna try it. Never realised how broken story mode is. Over 2 gens I have completed the game 3 times, never once has the save not had some problem.

Edit: Completed 15/15 knife flights on one save and 50/50 bridges on another save but no trophy. Looks like I am going to have to get a Mallard on my new save and do all 15 knife flights again.

Sometimes the trophy will pop up out of the blue. Just go on with your story mode or go online and eventually it will pop. I havr had the same issues on the PS4.

I hope so. Went to the R* Social club to check my trophies and a few of them are locked, ones that I got months ago.
I dont really bother about trophies but because I am so close to a platinum it bugs me.

Update: I ket saving the game to advance some days/saved in a new slot and eventually the missions came unstuck. Finished the Paleto Score, got a mallard and finished the knife flights. Trophy popped - so to answer my own question - YES the bridges and knife flights have to be on the same save.

It's on the setup for that mission, where you stakeout the bank after picking up Lester in Paleto Bay.

New favourite transportation mode: Bicycle ride in first person view! So many details in the world that I've missed while driving cars...

Sure, it's not the fastest way to get around, but on the other hand the game world becomes a lot bigger

I cant believe that Rockstar still haven't released any story mode dlc. They talked about it a lot before gta online became so popular, they even had the voice actors in to do some more lines. I know they concentrate on the online mode, but it has been ages now. I cant stand playing gta online, i just cant get into it, so i just spend hours cruising round in story mode trying to get gold trophies.

I like both Story mode and Online, but I think it's far overdue for a Story DLC as well. The very least they could do is add new content to story mode such as missions and cars (perhaps bring everything over from online as well), and simultaneously add the same additions to online minus the story mode missions so everyone is happy.

I don't really see what the hold up is minus R* has a major focus on the online portion.

The single player experience could certainly need some new content. I'm sure online is great in many ways, but it doesn't appeal to everyone. For me it's mainly because you can't opt out of the ever present violence.

I don't know if any of you have been keeping up with it, but the rumors have been heating up about a story mode DLC again... this time a twitter response was made from the voice actor of CJ in GTA: SA and he makes remarks alluding to a GTA V DLC where CJ is actually Franklin's father... Pretty strong chance here I think

I don't think R* even acknowledge that there's a single player/story mode. The 'Slidey Cars' cheat has been broken for 4 months now and R* haven't bothered to fix it. That, alone, ruined my single player experience.

Though I love the online aspect, I agree that they have seemed to abandon the story mode. I sincerely hope that these rumors hold true and that the story at least gets SOMETHING new for the sake of everyone

Anyone else on OSX having trouble loading into the Social Club in a browser? I'm on Snow Leopard - which I won't be surprised if that's the problem - but it just goes to a basic text version of a login screen on both Safari and Chrome and when you input your details, it reloads the same page again.

I've never had a problem and I use a Macbook Pro for my computer at home... I am running OS X: El Capitan I think though so it might be your OS as you said.

I've recorded a few videos passing through their and never encountered this, and it was perfectly fine when recording. Not sure what caused it.

Its such a pain getting platinum in this game. How many glitches did you encounter?

Not so much hard, just very time consuming. It's such a long grind especially the online trophies.

Not too many except one big one, where I completed single player to 100% and the trophy never popped.
