GTMSA Announces Super GT Season 9 Signup

Hi. Just to get things straight. Sat 12th 9pm gmt is practice then Sun 13th 9.30pm gmt is qualifying then the race is at 10pm? Just want to double check things. Any idea who will host the GT300 sessions?

Alright Folks, Sorry I've been kind of quiet on things. Super GT will begin February 12th. Both sessions will begin at 4:00 PM EST with a One hour Practice session Saturday and 30 minute qualifying beginning at 4:30 and the race immediately following at 5:00.

Also, Super GT will be taking to the interwebs this season as for the first time in any GTMSA series, Highlights will be posted weekly on youtube. Since this is aimed at being more towards a realistic series, I ask that everyone provides there first and last names. This will help alot with the Scrolling Ticker as well as the race results and points chart to be featured in the video. The person with the pole in GT500 will be asked to do a lap around the track for the new Nissan Track map feature that is shown before each Highlight.

So anyhow, thats whats going on at the moment. Watch out for the race thread sometime this week.

Yep, thats how I've go it set. As for GT300 sessions, right now the number of entrants hasn't really reached maximum number of room participants so we'll have mixed qualifying. If there is however, then CAMikaze will be the room host for GT300 for all sessions.

Hmm... If you guys decide to run separate races at diferent times I'll also run the GT300 after the GT500 race!

We are only using the Premium GT500 cars right now so Neither car is eligible.

Just a suggestion, but Fuji should have a standing start, since the real Fuji does ever since the massive accident that nearly cost a driver his life and ended the race before it started. (Pace car was going too fast for the wet conditions.)

Fuji will already have a standing start since thats what the whole season will have just to simplify things. In real life whoever, they still do have the rolling start at Fuji.

You can only change the numbers on the Race modded cars or the Stealth cars.

Suggestion for the Enduros: Would an earlier starting time be possible for the first Fuji and second Suzuka races. Like maybe 1 or 2 hours earlier?

As for the 1st Special race at the Nurburgring, which track is going to be used for that race?

I have some important announcements so I ask that everyone reads this:


Round 2: The 2nd race of the season has been moved to next week so that we can test whatever new features are introduced in the latest patch

Weight Ballast: With the 1.06 patch, the Weight Ballast has been introduced. This likely means that we will now see the return of the Weight Penalty system from previous seasons.

Season Schedule: Race Schedule in Post 1 has been updated now with actual dates for the first half of the season. 2nd half will be finalized by the end of the month.

Power limiter: Another new addition is the Power limiter. Now cars which previously had a big power advantage can now be lowered to match equally with other cars.

The good news its finished with all the necessary bits. The Bad news is that the program won't render it. It'll get to halfway, then stop. Luckily, I have the program on another computer so I can see if its just a storage issue as apparently, my Compaq is low on space. I'm also now weighing in on if I should redo the whole thing with new videos now that the replay options have more features (Like onboard cameras now for other cars as well as TV angles on Pitroad).

Edit: Now attempting to render the video on the other laptop. Hopefully with it having far less stuff on it, its up to snuff.

And Jav, are you sure you want to? Just want to make sure thats your final decision.
