Ok guys, I have done a major shakeup for this season. As you all are aware, the series will feature three special rounds. Now, those rounds have been firmly placed within the series schedule, taking place every 2 points races. The prizes for winning the special rounds include a rare car and an automatic entry to the Fuji TV 1000 KM Scheduled for later on this year.

Speaking of the Fuji TV 1000KM, that race will be a Invite only race. It'll feature champions from all the Super GT series as well as the winners of the special rounds. Race will take place the day before the real life Pokka 1000 KM.

Let me know what you guys think.

VERY good idea. ;) As for the Fuji TV 1000km, maybe the week before the actual Pokka 1000(or 700km) race?

I don't know if I want to enter the race series just yet, might just see in a few weeks or two as I work out if I have a conflicting schedule or not

An idea for the pace car driver: We could start it out as the slowest qualifier, but then just take turns so we wouldn't have one person always as the pace car. But maybe like slowest qualifier for the first race, second slowest for the second race, third slowest for the third race, etc. It'd keep things fair and it would seem like less of a punishment.

I might make it to todays race. Should we try a rolling start like they do in real Super GT? Like the GT500 and GT300 have their separate rolling start.

There's half an hour left in the 24 Hours of Daytona....and I need to do a race so I can buy Soft tires for my new entry. But I'll be on to get some practice in most definitely.

Track is open for practice in my Lounge. :) I'll be in after the checkers fly at Daytona.:)

Alright Folks, Sorry I've been kind of quiet on things. Super GT will begin February 12th. Both sessions will begin at 4:00 PM EST with a One hour Practice session Saturday and 30 minute qualifying beginning at 4:30 and the race immediately following at 5:00.

Also, Super GT will be taking to the interwebs this season as for the first time in any GTMSA series, Highlights will be posted weekly on youtube. Since this is aimed at being more towards a realistic series, I ask that everyone provides there first and last names. This will help alot with the Scrolling Ticker as well as the race results and points chart to be featured in the video. The person with the pole in GT500 will be asked to do a lap around the track for the new Nissan Track map feature that is shown before each Highlight.

So anyhow, thats whats going on at the moment. Watch out for the race thread sometime this week.

What's the current time limt you have for your YouTube posts at the moment?

Given the time for editing and piecing it together (coupled with my current school schedule), I'm thinking Mondays at 2:00 PM

I mean what is the current maximum allowed time for your YouTube clips? I remember hearing not too long ago they've increased the limit for some non-commercial users from 10 minutes to 15 minutes.

Videos more then 15 minutes long are now allowed. I'm not sure how long I'll make the highlights, Might depend on the number of laps.

Question now being how much longer?:)

Well, doesn't specifically say. All it mentions is that videos longer then 15 minutes can be uploaded now.

Season Begins next week, February 12th.

Cool! I guess I'll be doing the Suzuka endurance on Sunday to get those extra few hp out of the car...

You can PM me your names, preferably before Next sunday so I can have the list made and by my side as I make the highlight video.

Hmmm... I'm tempted to enter this race on the longer rounds, might try and get off work those days

The race is 8pm in my time, but stupid Maccas puts me on shifts in the evening

Edit*** http://www.youtube.com/user/PM910#g/u is a good place to get a good idea of how Super GT digest videos/highlights look like (The 2009 ones were better)
