Lap times for Monaco? Just want to see how off pace I am. Fast cars aren't really my thing, but I want to learn how to drive them better.
I think I can run a 1:20 flat with a good lap, so far only managed a 1:20.8 though.
not sure yet mate, I think I hit 18's before, but then again maybe not

GTTCC finished too late for me to test now :grumpy:

Judging from you being a very respectable (and I do mean this sincerely, you're practically an alien) D2 Gold, it sounds like your setup may need improvement.

I just tried praiano's tune and got the same results. I dunno if that tune works well for these cars on this track, but I think the problem is more on my end.

I vote yes for the safety car. I don't really care if there's a real safety car on track. I'm just wondering how the safety car rule works if someone DCs. Once you DC, you can't rejoin can you?

Yesterday I managed a 1:19.6 full fuel, a full 3 seconds off the pace! Anyone got a good tune they'd like to share?
I managed a 1:18.5 with the "WRS tune" aka max/max ride height, softest springs and dampers all around, 7/7 ARB, 0 toe and camber. I forget the diff settings but you can probably figure them out better than I can. Heck, you can probably figure out a better tune than this yourself.

I'd like to thank @True-blue-8 for inviting me to Monaco. I would have loved to get a chance to race with you guys
because I'm a nutter for Monaco, unfortunately I have another engagement and can not attend.

I notice though that Red Bull Ring is coming up on the calendar and if the grid isn't full for next week maybe I'll join then instead.
Great memories of that track. I remember watching the F1 races there on the telly and '99 was great when Hakkinen went from
pole on the grid down to 22nd on lap 1 only to race through the pack up to an eventual third place and a great podium.
He had a great race there the following year as well.
DC was kind of embarrased in the '99 press conference after the race and rightly so.

Another great moment from RB Ring was in '03 when Michael Schumacher's car caught fire in the pits and he just calmly stayed
put in the cockpit. Lost probably 20-30 seconds while they put the fire out and then went on to win anyway.

The '01 and '02 fiasco's are still clear in my mind too.

Good luck tomorrow, guys! 👍

No worries mate, I forgot you asked to remind you when Monaco came and remembered today

I think I'll miss the Austrian GP so there is at least one free spot. I'm gutted, it's a track that I enjoy and where I perform pretty well ! One of my few chances to score good points

I think we should stick with the Safety Car, or the virtual Safety Car rather. :D
It went pretty well last time, with no practice or rehearsal.
