Should the safety car rule stay?

1st of all, BUY A WHEEL. Before I got my DFGT, I was as slow as a lethargic amoeba. After practicing for a year, I'm where I'm at right now.
I'm thinking of picking up a T300RS when I get a PS4, but that's a few months down the line. Maybe GT6 benefits wheel users a bit more than previous games I've played; I could get Top 1% times easily on Forza 4 with a pad for example.

well no ones fault but yours. Hey, you upset TRL guys too. I think you need some more practice if you want to be a safety car driver in series 👍

chilled now?
Hardly all my fault? I think some of.your drivers need practice in what a Safety car actually means. For example, no overtaking.

RBR should be a much better race. The track is much more open and easier imo.
I probably won't end up making it because of CORE Super GT, though. Count me in for all rounds afterwards.

I'll make sure to devise a better and more legal pit strategy too. 👍

A safety car driver who doesn't pull into the pits at the end of a safety car period and can't maintain a pace speed preaching about teaching other drivers SC procedures?

Have you considered Stand-Up comedy, cause you're a funny guy...

On the outside or lay by. Outside the white lines that define the track. Not actually on the circuit though.

So, your telling guys who are from TRL that they need to learn to drive? That is funny actually

I'm not saying all. I'm saying the people in the likes oThomas..

Oh come on guys it's becoming silly ! Ok @Wavey2014 may have 🤬 up the SC procedure (IMO essentially the restart) but you're hard on him. And anyway what's done IS done.

Fair enough, I'm chilled now anyway. That and I can, in a way, understand the difficulties of being an SC at Monaco since maintaining a 60mph speed is impossible due to the nature of the track. I just needed to let the rage out

what's done is done. It caused a lot of problems but we learnt

But no one ever learns if you pussy foot around it. you need to tell them straight for their own benefit. You need tough love in life.

it's going to be interesting to see if EVO can hold immortal off lol

Thank you for understanding.. Also, thank you for not raging at me... I apologise for ruining all of your races' and it won't happen again. (seeing as I'm not your SC.)

Great wheel / crappy pedals, making it quite expansive for what it is. If you're rich and can change pedals (I use G27 pedals with an adapter, TM has decent sold separately) or if you can buy it on sales, just go for it. Otherwise the pedals do the job but aren't great.

If you guys are looking for a new Safety Car driver I would ask @Peelster1. He had a whole assortment of Safety Car drivers that have been tested and certified for the job, including myself. 👍

Also, @RyanRacer, DS3 drivers can be quick too. ;)

Not working on a PS4 doesn't make it useless ;)
No ;)

But you'll get GT7. Need a new wheel and you've just paid £250 for a G27. Can't sell it for that much by the time GT7 is out. Hopefully they sort this silliness out

sweet thank mate 👍

I think its a good idea to drop the safety car though now

They're not going to. People can voice their complaints all they want, but if they cared about the PS4 users and not just cash then a) PS3 pads would be compatible for games that don't require touch capability and b) The console would be backwards compatible (which is my biggest complaint about all modern consoles, since they then re-release the same games as a 'remastered' edition and charge full retail or on their digital marketplaces for a lot more)

@RyanRacer, I own a DFGT, and I couldn't have chosen a better wheel within that price range, I was like you. Didn't want go all out on a G27 just.for it to be worthless in a few months.. So yeah, I highly recommend the DFGT.

Also, as somebody above me said, you don't have to have a wheel to be a fast driver, you just need to use whatever you feel comfortable with using.

Or maybe there will be an adapter for the G27 to work on the PS4 and you guys will have time to buy it before Sony and Thrustmaster sue them. :D

That's true, but by experience I know that wheel to wheel racing is far more complicated with a pad.
