This is unacceptable, if it were me running this series you would get kicked out in no time.

I can accept you to struggle to race cleanly, but when you take me out intentionally..

Right, Feedback time:

Format worked well and the lobby seemed more stable (apart from @NinjaEvo getting stuck in the revolving lobby door at the start of race 3), I have no problem hosting every week that I can make it (should be every event but you never know what might come up) if people want me to.

I personally was finding no challenge in the life of the tyres, I was in an FF and in race 2 I gave myself 11 laps to do on the softs, they both dropped only as far as 9 and I still had good pace at the end challenging @xflow1390 for 2nd. I appreciate that other cars/drivers will use their tyres quicker and I think that race 2 as it is worked well but I would be inclined for race 1 to go back to fast tyre wear, I could have done the whole thing on one set without losing more than 1 second per lap.

As above, race 2 worked well, clear strategy choices to start on SMs or SSs and when to pit, getting it right was key and it was good fun fighting my way through the field with xflow because we had taken the SMs at the start and pitted early to maximise time on the SS tyres.

@alex salmon mentioned penalties and @Ian_83 flying past on the straight, if others feel a change needs to be made then I say we look at it but in that instance Ian had more penalty than you but he still had more power because his car started 40BHP above Alex's. I think that was more likely a case of Ian getting a good corner exit (as he always seems to) and having 22BHP more than Alex. @True-blue-8 what do you think about this?

I won't comment on driving standards just yet, I am going to watch the replay of race 3 now and will post up any observations I have shortly.

It was weird, I joined the track and I had black loading screen. I could hear the car, that's why I was paused and cruising on the track. Had to restart the game, joined the lobby with 7 sec before race start so it wouldn't let me in.

No matter, I gatecrashed D2 and won the sprint race by 8 seconds... 👍

Is that the first race you ever won on gt6 ?

Shall we gloss over the fact you hit the back door of my car unsettling it on the exit?
Even if he did hit your back door, that was no acceptable way to retaliate. But I am just basing this opinion on the photos @RacingLine published, if there is more to this story then I apologize, but from that point of view, that was disgraceful.

EDIT: Why is there always banter when I'm not there?? :nervous:

Funny, I remember you being there when I won in Rome and Willow Springs, not to mention still having the record for the largest GTTCC winning margin ever recorded... 👍

Don't even try putting this on me, i was alongside you i had every right to be there.

And with me hitting you i know @GT_Vette can clarify or anyone else racing nearby us for that matter that you turn in too soon, having no respect for wheel to wheel racing, use blind spot indicator man!

Yer i remember when you had that large winning margin....................because everyone DC/d that night, if i remember rightly .

lol, no, it's better than that, it was the night where the race format was changed because everyone was bored.

Daytona Oval, I lapped everyone in my OP Golf... 👍

I also have the record for the smallest winning margin from the same meeting, this race was much better. A battle royale with Yuc and Emo... I miss the Ovals, we should go to Motegi...

that was the worse night ever

change it quickly

That was 280bhp 1280kg correct?

Currently looing at the Nissan

Yeah it was,

Is the Volvo as light as it can be ? Because the horsepower advantage makes it impossible to pass without the driver making a mistake, i was alongside many times but he just pulls away? Feels like i have RWD specs in a FF car compared to that swedish beauty (jokes aside) ;).

If it isn't, just lighten it and lower the HP to a reasonable level

It's as light as possible and to the others it is balanced

Also, Ian is a cracking driver who has perfected the car. So he's pulled it to a level others couldn't

Shhh... I did the double...

I do remember you complaining about how you couldn't feel your thumb from holding X for so long 👍
That hurt so much, I kept crashing into the wall

I'm watching race 3 and I really am ashamed to be honest

@True-blue-8 Will do post mock points results from this evening? to see where everyone stands over a full meeting.

Another bit of feedback: I improve a lot with just a few laps, I had a 14BHP penalty in the final race and my superpole lap was still quicker than I managed in actual quali before race 1. With plenty of time and track specific tuning I hope to be faster.

I am gathering all the results now. I'll post them ASAP

Ian is very good and although he has that advantage he has the major disadvantage of the flat cap getting in the way of his vision and his tartan seat covers getting caught up in the gear lever.

Also the Volvo will eat its tyres, he will have a tough time getting strategy right.

To all D2 drivers - thanks for those who came, there were some decent racing up and down the field. A little messy during first race, but got much better later on.

Also does anyone know who is this Walker guy?

Did he pop along in the end mate? He was a driver who joined us a few weeks ago. He did a top job and I invited him along. He got back to me today 👍

I believe that is true on tracks with less straights and more corners, Pace wise It's equal. i'm just saying it has a huge advantage off the line and keeping drivers that are faster behind on tracks with basically just straights.
