Pure joke. I didn't see you say do not leave the pits at any point. If I had of I would of stayed in the pits. As soon as you said off track then I did. I didn't even start a flying lap so I was only on track for 60seconds max. And there was another person on the track.

He did mention it in the lobby chat. Depending on whether you were in the lobby before me, when it was stated, is something I can't remember clearly. If you was, he definitely DID mention it.

Been slowly working my way through the thread. First thing I'd like to say is...

Guys, specs are locked in, warnings issued, Race 1 is this Wednesday... Just let it go will ya? I don't usually get the chance to jump in on the complaints about a number of things in the GTTCC, but let's not ignore the elephant in the room; y'all are still here and prepared to race despite the "flaws" that @True-blue-8 has tried to iron out.

I'm happy with the work he's put in, I'm happy to listen to any criticism on my driving/behaviour and grow a pair about it, and I am happy to speak up in a mature manner about anything I feel needs addressing to further improve the series, and happy to accept the feedback on what ever I suggest or have worries on. Now if anyone else is not as satisfied with this, out of respect for True's endeavours, I will be happy to escort you to the exit of this thread, politely open the door for you and ask that you enjoy your time on GTPlanet.

The only question left then is whether you can race on Monday or not?
 
Sadly, no. I'm not committing myself to anything too heavy from now on.

Occasional Wednesday nights for GTTCC are fine, but even then I've stated that I am a part-time driver. Anything more I can't handle...

Mondays not looking good so far

Not sure if i'll be on racing now. Spent the day out in the cold struggling with the lotus (@xflow1390 finally able to sort the fuel tank out and it can't be accessed from the bottom. Had to strip it from the top, pulling out all the rivets and alloy panels. Got a lot of work to do now :/ )
So feeling pretty tired and just not going to enjoy it after the last few days

If I did I haven't noticed, probably because other threads I've been watching are quite busy :lol:

For the best really, I've been up for 36 hours and feeling quite bleh... (yeah, it's a technical term :cheers:)

Something like that I think. I think, if you're up for it, we for sure should run. When the main series started it had a field on 8-9 for the first 4-5 meetings. If it's moving, it'll pick up momentum. 👍

I am going to open the lobby even if its just me ;) that gets me full points right? But yeah, looks like there are going to be plenty of spots if anyone from D2 fancies a drive, it counts towards a seperate championship so no worries there 👍

I like that. I've got a Super GT race tomorrow where we're looking at 4 drivers max. I'm still running, more points, more opportunity. :cheers:

are you getting there with it now, what else you done to it?
We had to totally strip and rebuild the westie this winter, the reason is a long story :scared:
But I love working on them 👍
 
I hope we can get some D2 drivers in and i'll be racing for sure

Quite a lot really. While the chassis / rear axel is exposed we may as well clean it up and treat it. The rear brakes need new hoses. The steering column needs to be grinded out and done better (the welding on the car is terrible) and finish of the carbs.

So yeah, not much as you can see :lol:
But i'm looking forward to it :D
