what is happening tomorrow, I thought races were on Wednesdays?

Its a 1 hour endurance race, a seperate championship but in the same cars and run at the same tracks.

EDIT: Looks like we will have plenty of space if you want in as well, are you free?

Oh right, a lot changes in a week. What time is the start as i've got some coursework to do as well? :cheers:
 
Tonight race I guess it's ok to do ss start then pit for sm and maybe pit again for ss.
Or start on sm pit for ss and again for ss.
Also will there be any sort of pit windows, like can't pit for first 5 laps?

Also anyone know how many laps, I'm guessing at 50 laps?

We are going to be looking at around 35 laps. Pitting strategy is entirely down to you, you can pit 6 times if you want to and you can pit whenever you like and start on whatever tyres you choose.

Only rule on tyres is that you must use both at some point, even if its only for 1 lap.....

Pit as many times as you want and use whichever tyre, as long as you use both at the same time

The race will be a 1 hour time countdown.
Any DNF's will receive last place points, for endurance races only

So, here we go.

The GTTCC Support series are here. The teams and drivers can gain some valuable track time. The roar of the engines will be heard and it's time. For GTTCC. Can you handle it? ;)

Well. Let's just say that sometimes my imagination annoys me. Touring cars? Do it. Running well.

F1 series? Ok, let's try it. Yep another good series.

Rally. Why not, test GTOR's luck. Still a reasonable start.

I have a new idea but I need to try calm down :lol:
 
One more thing, will this just be in the standard hosted lobby section or will I need to join a club?

I forgot about that feature...
 
Very enjoyable race that! I qualified 6th and made a good start, I got up to 5th but then I made a small mistake and fell into the battle behind me where I was shuffled down to 9th. I sat behind Stocky and Ian, patiently lol, before I could finally get a run on Stocky. And on the next couple of corners I sat on Ian's tail and then launched past and pulled away. I got onto the back of doomstorm and he made a mistake at the kink which allowed me to get a run on him. Next up was mystiq... I cant remember that part, but once I got past them I closed up on wambam quickly presuming his tyres had gone. He pitted and I passed him. I caught up to MadBean a little before he pitted too. That left Pam. I brought the gap down to around 20 seconds before our lap times started to match - when my tyres were starting to go off. I stayed out to further fulfil my strategy. Pam pitted I passed. A couple of laps later, Pam started closing in extremely quickly and I thought "nope. Pit NOW!" And I lost out BIG TIME, I came out just behind Wambam. I got stuck behind him as he's super quick on the straight and super at defending. Then Ian joined in, and when he went up the inside of Wambam at turn 4 I saw my chance and quickly followed Ian. I kept up with Ian for a little bit before my Medium tyres decided not to be tyres anymore and MadBean was super quick and before I knew it he was on my tail. OH THAT DAMN MISTAKE, and it let him past. Aaaaand that was about it. I finished 4th.

Turns out it was 5th, I lost True somewhere in the race. :lol:

This was the bit when I was intending to be on SMs, I messed up the pit entry and accidentally tapped my accelerator just as the dialog box came up and it sent me back out with full fuel and new SS, then I got very angry and that is when the gap started closing very quickly, I wasn't sure if you still had to pit so I thought for a while I might need to pass you on track and gain 30 seconds!
