Thanks looks good 👍

Guys, we need to keep an eye out on Wednesday. There's a HUGE update coming and lets hope it comes tomorrow!

GTOR B spec championship sounds good to me :D
There's a question, what's this B-Spec thing that people do online? :odd:

I left a comment. :embarrassed:
only the feedback completed? cool cool 👍

@sb360 all fields are compulsory due to Wednesday nights. All you'll need to do is put a N/A or dot or something in there

no idea online. But if we could set it up that would be great

Fingrs crossed It does
If it comes Wednesday we'll have to postpone. It will take at least 45mins to download and many won't be able to do it in time

Thanks looks good 👍

If this is available online I am all over this!

I only ever used to use it as something to leave on for 24 hours to make me credits!

If you look here: https://www.gtplanet.net/category/gran-turismo-6/

I have found that these will be in the 1.16 update:
  • B-Spec mode. Offline, I presume.
These may be coming in update 1.16:
  • Midfield Raceway
  • New Alpine VGT
  • New Lexus VGT
Also, there's a teaser released for Course Make, which means it's definitely on the way! :D

Plus, painted versions of the Mazda VGT and Chaparral VGT are coming, too!

Well up for Midfield!

I think we will also have the ability to paint rear wings.

Ford
Honda
Nissan
Toyota
Volvo

I got your feedback thanks mate 👍 will see what we can do. No there wasn't a race 2/3 that's for Wednesday nights :)

how do people feel about dropping the SM for endurance? personally prefer to keep it as practice

I like having it, without everyone will be running very similar strategies.

It also won't be as rubbish at other tracks, around 1 second at motegi and then nearly 3 at laguna made it seem worse than normal I think.

@TDZdave suggested a minimum time limit per tyre. sound like a good idea to me. 20mins at the min each compound

Its a lot of replay work to enforce it though, personally I like it the way it is forcing people to run both and decide where in the race they compromise their strategy, it gives us nice varied racing and makes you think.

I reckon if you want to go for a minimum time you will also need fast wear, otherwise you will just end up with two strategies: 20 mins on mediums and finish on softs or 40 mins on softs and finish on mediums. Also what if someone pits at 39:50 of the race but the mediums don't go on until 40:05 or something, and then imagine checking every pitstop for every driver. The idea could work in the right circumstances I just think that actually checking it would be a massive pain.

Edit: To add, as it stands at the moment there is no real reason not to spend as much time as possible on the SS, I could go well over half distance on one set of softs and the pace at the end of the stint was still better than I was getting on brand new SMs. Maybe putting tyre wear on fast would encourage more time spent on the slower tyre. Admittedly part of this is that the SMs just suck around Laguna but the SS lasting too long probably has an affect as well.

but the massive downside is the FR will keep going and the FF won't. It will affect them more

If all drivers who raced tonight can get the form done ASAP please that would be great, same as for wednesday

I get your point but I am not sure its as big as problem as we think, top 3 tonight were all FF and I am finding the the tyre wear on my car is comparable to the BMW, maybe a point worse on the fronts but a lot better on the rear and I imagine this will matter quite a lot late in a stint on a BMW, if I make a mistake I slide a bit wide, make a mistake on worn rears in an FR and you could be pointing backwards. I bet over a decent length stint its pretty even.

will think/have a look. even on the test nights in race 2 with fast wear the BMW was so much better. and I mean a lot better

Hmm, it might just be that the Integra is very good on its tyres but I think the Golf at least is similar. I mean today I was still doing high 35s after 27 laps on SS. It would be good to test FR vs FF in a 20 lap stint on fast with no pitstops, see what is strong at which parts of the race?

Edit: Are you factoring in the @xflow1390 effect? He would be winning races in a 2CV.

The Nissan keeps pace until around lap 30ish before the SS tyres start to wear out. And that's pushing the car!

Yeah, seems pretty similar, I think it was me and you with split times from around lap 18 to my first pit stop. I had more laps if I needed them and I think we were pretty much matching pace almost the whole way, would be interesting to do it on fast and see who runs out of tyre first. I suspect that FF will lose pace a little quicker but like I mentioned a mistake on worn tyres in an FF is generally not as bad as a similar mistake in an FR. Don't know if it will even out over a race distance mind.

I think the races are long enough to throw up alternative strategy,

The issues with doing mandatory minimums is policing it, it does require some effort, but then there is articulation of the rule also, and I can be interpreted differently,

Also, can we get a sign up sheet happening for these races, then lock the room down to the expected amount of people, that will help connection issues, if there are any, and annoyingly that's the 4th or 5th time someone entering a lobby during a race has ruined mine,

Who was that the entered the room anyway? :(

What a stupid question to ask at a critical time too. I'm guessing that they thought it was a practice session. It put me off for a while too.
