I checked this morning, there is a PS3 update but no GT6 one. The PS3 update took around 5 mins to download on a 2.5MBps connection and a further 5 mins to install, if everyone is a little organised it looks like we will be good to go

It looks to be the same as yours but needs checking.

Who would have thought that the guy would use a tank from a Morris Minor ? It's actually lucky really because they're still being produced and quite cool too. Moss also sell the same tank.

If it's the right one, I accept payment in beer tokens or championship points.

I am confident of some good points from the meeting, race wins are going to be very hotly contested this evening I think.

I need to do well as I tend to struggle at city tracks so I need to get some good points built up before then.

You should do fairly well mate. 👍

I think that podiums are going to be difficult to get and wins will be near impossible. The grid is so hot this season.

Yeah, I think we are going to be seeing a 5 or 6 way battle for the championships this year, so many quick drivers and former race winners. I can't wait.

As an aside, if we do have a meeting disrupted by the update who would be up for some non-championship racing around Midfield for those that are able to get the update done in time?

I doubt that we'll be getting the update today, but it sounds like a plan and better than doing nothing.

Yeah, I checked it this morning so I doubt it is today too, @NinjaEvo said it might be tomorrow which would be ideal as that wouldn't disrupt anything.

I think I am going to struggle with the second Endurance, I suck at city tracks, I suck more than normal on city tracks at Rome and I am away all weekend so will have no testing, I will give it a good go but I predict a drop score!

Rome is such a slippery track. I've never enjoyed racing there. Monaco is much better.

Monaco is going to be hectic! There are many many great drivers on the grid but there will undoubtedly be at least 1 incident, but most likely a racing incident. 👍

Yeah, I don't know if its psychological or something its just the cobble texture doesn't give me any confidence in the car at all. I don't like the last corner either, its just awkward and never seems to flow nicely.

I find the first right handers a little tricky to get right, and it actually costs you so much time if you get it wrong!

Totally agree with you on this. The cobbles must be the problem and I have the same issue with the final corner. It's sooo easy to screw up.

Maintenance warning is for the 26th, from 08:00 to 10:00.

@True-blue-8 is there any chance that we can get this info earlier as we know the format and calendar? We can always guess ourselves but I'd rather know for certain and in advance so that I can prepare or at least have a plan in mind.

Yeah I used to do that in my Forza days, haven't tried it for a while on GT6 but I might have a play at some point.
