It will, odds are it'll be 20 minutes and up. I'll check as early as I can. 👍

nah, by the seems of it it's going to be big mate. I reckon about 45 mins :indiff:

I might have to go retro tonight, was going to do some Bathurst practice but I seem to keep finding ways to put it off... Ahhh, damn my procrastination...
we've got this mate ;)
i'm getting the bug for the old super Monaco sega game :D

usually the updates come around 730PM my time on Wednesday, around 10 hours before the race is planned, check when you wake up

Sorry for the delayed answers guys.

@Ian_83 iv just realised I definatly can't make the next 2 rounds of the endurance series :( so I don't mind were/who I team with. I'll probs just be taking part in a few rounds now so I won't be a contender either way.

@True-blue-8 regarding your fuel tank issue, our westfield has an aluminium tank (rectangle shape) not certain if it's a factory item or not, but a quick image search on westfield ones, and there's alot of small differences/sizes so I would imagine there mostly aftermarket.

Does yours look like it's from a doner car eg mx5? I think most kit cars have aluminium tanks tbh. If yours is an aluminium tank, measure it and keep an eye on the forums 👍

I'll put you as a three some then 👍

Had a look and as you said the modern westy tanks are more rectangular, whereas what we've found is flat. will post the pics now soon as they download. They look very similar to an old triumph, and I really don't think they're original factory. Car is too old and british to be an mx5, but we believe it must be a doner, just not sure which, can't find one :/

I think your best bet is to measure to see what size aluminium tank will fit and keep an eye out for a second had one the right size 👍

I'll be there tomorrow.

@True-blue-8 I tried looking for a tank that looked similar but I couldn't find anything :( The original builder could have taken a tank from literally anywhere. Are there any other clues on the tank?

nope, no markings, serial numbers, nothing :/

The lip is sealed, not welded, suggesting it is an original factory part. Question is what company :/

Yep it looks like it's been taken straight from a car. I've tried googling the usual suspects though. hmmm.

yeah, first thought was a 2CV, wouldn't that be cool

It's going to be a bummer to find what it is, let alone if there's any around. will keep thinking, thanks guys 👍

I guess that you didn't get any build info with the car?

What year was it completed?
here we go then

There are many variations of Caterhams. What we have is a Lotus F27. If you look them up you'll find absolute zit. The company kept changing and were really bad from our hours of research. The guy we bought it off believed it was early 80's. However there was no chassis number on it and no record at all. We have brought some plans but it's just basic stuff really, and mainly talks about the 'borrowed' parts from other cars, but nothing about the fuel tank.

So it's been difficult trying to figure out what the car actually is, let alone what she's made up of :/
