Normally would vote "meh" for not caring about F1.

Went with Uncool due to him being over-praised since his death.

I respect him, but he drove a car sponsored by cigarettes, which taint anything they touch as Seriously Uncool

That's like saying Sherlock Holmes was uncool because he was addicted to cocaine. Oh, wait...

Judging people for doing it endorsing something you believe to be wrong now, when they didn't know it was wrong then is... well... a bit shortsighted.

I don't judge my parents harshly for spanking me with a belt or letting me ride in the front seat of the car without one. It was simply a different era... and we knew less then than we do now.

The man was a right arsehole on track, but he was fantastic to watch. I wonder, though, would he be tainted with the same villainous reputation as Schumacher if he'd lived on past his prime?

Or is vilification something reserved exclusively for German drivers?

Hmm.

Still leaning towards cool, just because... I still think Alonso is better. :D

 The arguments in here is as ridiculous as the ones in the AK-47 thread.

BTW, you should change your avatar to GT5 zombie Jeff Gordon. 👍

I voted meh. While I appreciate that he had immense skill in an F1 car, able to drive supremely in any condition, bear in mind that Stefan Bellof was proving just as good before his untimely passing. Also, Senna is responsible for the current school of thought in F1 currently where the attacking driver places the defending driver in a position of 'give way or crash'. That is just dangerous and wrong, and it undoes his hard work.
