Crippled by the tiny discs brought in to combat piracy. Sorry, it's uncool.

It seems like that's been their reason behind their direction. Yet, their consoles aren't any more secure than the competition. Piracy is seemingly inevitable.

Oh I forgot, another thing that made it cool was the Gameboy Player which slotted under the bottom, that's one of those rare situations where a company gives you the ability to play portable titles without forcing you to buy the portable device. Sony has kinda half done the same thing with the PlaystationTV.

The GC was cool, the Panasonic version was sub zero...

That was such an amazing system, great idea to combine a Hi-Fi and a games console because it extends longevity and I could see it getting use everyday even a decade after the system has become obsolete. However combining a DVR and console didn't go so well for Sony.

Lot of good memories playing Mario Kart and NASCAR Thunder 2003. Cool, but not as good as the PS2. Always liked the mini disks.

I didn't own one, but I have played on it. Not a favourite, but it's not rubbish. Meh
