GTP Challenge: MR Club vs. 4wd Club

Okay guys, This is the first of the team battles...

Seito4Counter (MR CLub) vs. 1989therat (4wd Club)

Course: Midfeild II

Deadline: Saturday, 17th of Jan, 2004 Midnight

When you want to turn in your entries, please upload it to either pergatory's FTP or 19XX's FTP and only give the judges the link to the videos and as soon as they are evaluated, then the links will be made public to promote fairness in these challenges.

When the video is uploaded please PM the head judge [Bengee] with the link of the video... and post in the thread that your video is uploaded so the judges will know to check there PMs...


The video must include the steering wheel, speedometer, T times, and lap time.

No HP limit?

I would probably be using a stock R34.

without a hp limit i believe 1989 is using a FTO LM car, and seito is using a Autobacs MRS... i think another challenge with a hp limit will be needed... but that is just my opinion

Yeah Bengee i agree.. i would like to drift stock.. bcuz that way the true emotions of the cars if very evident.. i would like to go stock but am afraid of losing

Sorry about the judging points and stuff i had up earlier... that was for race drifting not exhibition drifting. The scores for this competition will be done byt he exhibition rules.

I think I'll pass on this one.
Not that I have the right to complain or anything, but who chose Midfield II?

I spent a couple hours on it with my R34 and wasn't very successful. I mean, it has some fun corners but the rest are really wide, high speed turns and boring 'floor it'/manji straights. Not really a stock GT-R drift course.

I'll have my hands full with this vid anyways. I'll also probably make a attempt at organizing a Touge Drift Challenge (ask me and I will explain), so look for that in the future.

its strange for me to drift against awd.. i am a big advocate for awd drifting.. enjoying the extreme angles and recoverability of the cars.. so fun.. but why use high hp for awd.. this is more a battle of low vs high power to me..

OK well I'm just trying to get the best drifting out of a lap without messing up. I had an almost perfect lap but spun once c ya later
