I know, I just wanted to answer that Ganon's question.
Not a huge car nut like a lot of posters around here... but is there a single Shelby car that isn't at least cool?
I have all of you beat:
You forgot this.
Yeah, not many people like the Shelby Focus or Shelby F150 Raptor:
I wouldn't hit you for liking a not so popular car, I actually like the Focus aswell. Of course, I'm kinda crazy about the Ford Focus in general.I like that Focus
(please don't hit me )
me too.I like the Shelby Dakota....
IIRC the have NO drivetrain mods so a stock 318 or 360.^^^I actually never knew that existed. What the hell is under the hood?
That was it beyond a aftermarket steering wheel LOL it was the '70s after all.BAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA.
What did they do it then besides some stickers...
American car, so seriously uncool.
The car that took Shelby from racing to marketing. Still cool, but it sure as hell is not cool like a GT350R or Cobra.
Small blocks hitting 8,000rpm+ ftw.
Altough awesome video, your comparison is moot. There were GT3350 street cars, and there were GT500 race cars. Comparing a street car against a race car is absolutely off.
GT500 intended usage and sound:
*snip - driving on the street
GT350 intended usage and sound:
*snip - racing on a track
Small blocks hitting 8,000rpm+ ftw.
I'd love just one of them to buy a Mercury Cougar instead, but noooooo.
Yeah, not many people like the Shelby Focus...
Psh amateur
When I said "Just look at it. Sub zero." I was referring to the '67 Shelby GT500. What did you think I meant. A Shelby is generally cool provided it is not some piece of crap with a Shelby badge stuck on it with traditional Shelby garnish.I immediately thought of that guy when he posted
