Your allowed to dislike the Monteverdi, and others are allowed to disagree with you. They're not telling you that you're incorrect, because you're not. Some of your arguments as to why you dislike it may be inconsistent with your arguments as to why you like or dislike other cars, but that doesn't matter, it's all subjective.

Anyway, this is a cool wall, not a like wall, and as coolness is an aesthetic but liking something isn't...

I can certainly see how this:

And this:

Look the same to the extent that they cause confusion. Hell, I didn't even know if I forgot about a post I didn't actually make that you were apparently always alluding to when quoting things I did say.

I don't think I would have paid any attention to the Monteverdi's wire wheels if JMoney hadn't pointed them out.

They may be more synonymous with pre-war vehicles, front-engined post-war sports cars and GTs than mid-engined sports cars like the Miura. But when a car wears them without belittling the overall style regardless of what year the car was built, I see no reason to complain. I happen to think wires suit the Hai better than any other RMR cars of that period, even though they're a less conventional choice.

The French family car comparison was all the evidence we needed, really. Either because you think it somehow bears any resemblance to a completely different vehicle type, or you actually believe the A310 (which is the only French car it could possibly be identical to from that angle) can be considered a family car.

How can someones reason be wrong when it comes to having an opinion? Clearly to them it's not if that's reason enough for them to form an opinion on something. It's one thing to say "Chevy sucks because I said so" because that's an incorrect reason to dislike Chevy, but it's another to say something is or isn't cool because you don't like it's design or find flaws in it etc. Get. Over. It.

I think the Monteverdi is ugly. That is my opinion. It's not inaccurate or incorrect because it's merely an opinion, and the same goes for your opinion as well. We aren't trying to prove anything factual here.

How about instead of whining that I'm ignorant you tell us exactly why I am incorrect. You guys just love to throw claims out there without backing them up with reasoning, don't you? I guess you don't see a point in reasoning because you're still getting likes on your posts anyway.

Talk about the car, not me. This is getting old.
I told you exactly why you were wrong, but you decided after 2 posts to jump onto the fact that I'm tired of watching you throw out "opinion" as validity for anything you say. Even @Cano did, & you never responded.

There's that word again, getting thrown out there as if nobody can ever be wrong as like you say, "it's my opinion".
Wire wheels make anything look like a grandma's car.

That was an opinion you posted. And here's the fact: you were wrong.

If it's someones opinion, to that person it is not wrong, which is why we get defensive when someone tries to tell you otherwise.

Yeah, I realize that now, some cars they don't look half bad on

But he was wrong. For once he said wire wheels in the 40s. Do I need to post one picture of each car manufactured in that decade of each automaker? As I said, if you form an opinion on uninformed, wrong facts, the opinion is wrong.

Key words there: to that person.

Go back to the example I posted.
In my opinion, the Middle East should be nuked to kill the terrorists.
I'm wrong, plain & simple. That's not what should be done.
