It's sub-zero as the childhood poster dream car.

It's seriously uncool off of that poster, and we don't vote based on a poster.

I definitely prefer the cleaner earlier 70s models over the overstyled 80s design.

Look at those seats!

I hate the way this car looks it's so ugly, the 25th anniversary edition is so much more beautiful in my opinion, seriously uncool.

I can understand preferring the more aggressive looks of the 25th Ann. model, but to call it beautiful?

...Oh. You have a Scooby in your avatar. It all makes sense :P

Sub-Zero. Like the Miura, the Countach helped define what a supercar is, and had a massive influence on the design of said cars for years. It's old enough that you could be seen getting out of it and not be associated with the chest-wig-wearing and/or roid-raging sorts that tend to drive newer Lambos.

I think it's beautiful in it's own way just like a Scooby, not conventially beautiful (I think the word is conventially :lol) but beautiful to me in it's own way, and next time don't joke about the Subie avatar :( :P

Cool, but I prefer those looks with the beefed up bodywork and big spoiler. (LP500?)

Hey! I don't think the 25th Anniversary is that beautiful. :P

This does nothing for me. Despite having seen a Countach at a car show many years ago, I was an idiot kid at the age of 12 and had no posters of supercars of any kind, but rather things like... Scion xBs.

I reiterate, I was an idiot.

I know what this car is. I know what it means. But, for the love of God... I can't get excited over this at all, & I don't know why.

Will abstain from voting.

Nope uncool, if it were a Diablo or 500 instead of the 400 I'd say cool, but there were cars of this time that did the supercar thing better.

This car's pitfalls almost outweigh it's good qualities, yet there is no possible way it's anything but subzero. The fact that the majority of the world recognizes this car as the standard of cool is proof that it's not just a motoring icon, but an icon of art, humanity, and world culture.

I assume that by beautiful in its own way you mean "hideously ugly".

Unless by scooby you mean the scooby gang from Buffy the Vampire Slayer. My best friend has such a massive crush on Alyson Hannigan it's absolutely adorable eee...

You know, I don't like the Countach as much as I think I should. I don't think I liked it as a child, either, with it being comparatively vulgar next to the Diablo, the first Lamborghini I knew. Knowing how awesomely impractical the Countach is even by supercar standards, I wouldn't want one, though that lends it cool points. With this being a clean-looking earlier model, and having just voted "Meh" for the uncool-er EB110, that's enough for me to give this a low Cool.

I find the Countach Anniversary edition more beautiful than this one and I think Subarus are also beautiful in their own way to me. No I don't mean the scooby gang from Buffy the Vampire Slayer, you can be very random sometimes.

It's got scissor doors. Please.

The correct term is "Lambo" doors.

But if they're on a Countach, you just call them "Civic" doors. :D

-

There's only two ways to vote on this one. It's either seriously uncool or subzero. No middle ground. "This is Sparta!" and all that.

The correct term for those doors on a Lamborghini is 'Lambo doors'.

If you have the audacity to put those kind of doors on any other car it's 'scissor doors'.

That would be like calling a Xerox photocopier a "Xerox machine by Xerox". Also, if so, then what would you call a Gallardo door?

:D

When more Civics have scissor doors than modern Lamborghinis...
