Unreliable will be the first thing. Strange malfunctions will be second. Wrong spark plugs in your engine? Let's screw up the way your headlights work! (stuff like that)
The unreliability isn't really a problem in Citroën anymore.

Simulated woodgrain doesn't look bad if it's done reasonably.

Like this?

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA

Oh sorry.

Yeah no. It's still an issue. It will stay an issue. Maybe not when they are new, but as soon as that counter in the dash hits 100000km/60000miles you can bet your ass things will go wrong in your French car. But having said that, Germany isn't doing any better with their reliability lately.

And that's where Citroën with its quirky cars has one up on them. You can forgive your car when it looks like this, all funky and ****. A German just will look German.

If you take it that way. Yes you are right, but it becomes really hard to find new car that doesn't have that issue.

Not the perfect looking car for me, but atleast it didn't end up looking like the concept...
Could probably sell in Russia after a few years...

This car is weird for me. It's ugly as sin, but I like it. It looks suprisingly nice in yellow and doesn't weigh all that much. But quirky as it is, I can't say it's a cool car.

Something called "Airbump". They are designed to take impacts in car parks.

That's...actually a really clever idea.

I like the silver with the brown-ish airbumps most. Which is odd, because I'm not one for silver cars normally.

Edit: It's white apparently. Still my favourite.

Came into this thread expecting something as quirky as this.

Wasn't disappointed. Cool, especially in the purple.

I wasn't aware of this cars existence, but I already like it. Not sure that bit on the side couldn't be disguised some, but otherwise it does exterior plastic OK, rather like the Skoda Yeti. I find the lines actually quite clean, and would take this over say the random cellulite-riddled sugar puff that is the Nissan Juke any day. Also love the name, specs check out OK and a good example of what the French do best - family cars.

Oh and in purkle...very nice :)

I love the white car with brown Airbumps - you know, the picture I actually used in my nomination - because it looks like someone has put a big box over a Volvo V70 and left airholes at the front.

Anyway, here's the one I had for a quick drive:

The Airbumps, as I'm sure you know by now, are there to absorb collisions and impacts that occur at low speeds or when you're away from the car - things like noblords opening their car door into the side of yours, or a trolley ding. They're on the sides and at each corner and supposedly bring repair costs down by a ludicrous percentage.

The Cactus also doesn't weigh anything - metric ton, give or take - and there's no buttons or dials, just a big LCD screen to control vehicle functions and a small LCD screen in the binnacle. Well, as the binnacle.

Certainly very, very cool. Helps that it's also a pretty good car too.
Almost sub-zero. It can have a high cool though.

I though this was an uncool concept car, but they're actually selling these, which makes it cool for me somehow.

Folks complain about how modern cars are fat. Citroen makes an insanely lightweight car for its class - and more clever, in an everyday-useful manner, than just about anything on the road - and it's uncool.

*shrug*

Incredibly cool, and I wish it were sold here. It's a Citroen that makes no excuses for itself, and the type of smart engineering that will keep the ICE going. Sub'd.

Airbumps are neat, too. It's aerodynamically sound enough for golf balls...

The door shuts are luggage straps. The passenger side airbag is in the roof for greater knee room, leg room and dash storage.

Tries to be inexpensive yet looks really cheap and tacky. Cheapness is not cool.

I have yet to see one on the roads, but I already know that it's a quirky and cool French car. Solid Cool.

ZOMG, much cheapness!
People who voted Seriously Uncool on the McLaren F1 voted Sub Zero on this
Probably because they think the McLaren F1 is seriously uncool, but this is sub-zero. I mean, I'm just guessing here.

You could always ignore some votes if it's not going the way you want it to go.

It's a quirky, cool, Citroen that's actually affordable? Sub Zero right?

Unfortunately, all I see is a slightly lumpy, ungainly looking thing. The interior looks pretty nice, but I'm not a huge fan of those 'air bumps' (I'd rather deal with dents than have these). I feel like I'm missing something, and I feel like it deserves better. So I'll vote 'Meh'.
