Probably because they think the McLaren F1 is seriously uncool, but this is sub-zero. I mean, I'm just guessing here.

You could always ignore some votes if it's not going the way you want it to go.
You know what, I never thought of that, thanks for the wonderful idea.

I don't care that much, because in the end it's just a bunch of people on the internet debating the coolness of cars, but if the situation where I actually give enough of a **** about the results arises, I'll remember your suggestion

Oh God, at first this car looks like the french variant of the Cayenne and we all know some of the version of the Cayenne are just...bleugh.

But on first page, thanks to some screenshots I thought "Actually **** it, this not Sub-Zero, but I admit - lot more cooler than the Cayenne. Yep. I like it more."

So I'm voting it cool.

Sub-zero.

Just because it pisses people (in general) off.

This is what car design should be. Challenging pre-conceived notions with weird yet practical quirks... rather than making quirkiness the be-all and end-all of the design (Juke) or pandering completely to traditionalists (Mustang).

Sub-sub-sub-... wait, is there a Yellow Submarine edition?

I really love quirky looking cars like this. Very high cool, narrowly missing out on sub-zero because looking at those performance specs its probably not that great to drive.

I personally don't like the waffle iron on the side but owning a car that looks like a concept car is cool.

This is an excellent point. Quirkiness is all well and good on a poster but rubbish in the real world without any practicality. The C4 Cactus has found a good balance between the two. The air pocket thing is... is... genius.

Uncool.

Those stupid small headlights is the giant nail in it's coffin!

Yes the cushions on the doors is a good idea which saves it from SU.

This car is all the Marmite, which is why it's so amazingly sub-zero. It's good that it polarises opinion, because that means the car designers have taken a punt on something risky. Without that, you end up with the pleasant, homogeneous blob look of cars today that try to appeal to everyone. Bonus points for looking like a concept car put into production, something that I've always loved. I think it's because it recaptures the sense of wonder of a six year old me, reading books about cars and staring at pictures of concept versions with outrageous looks, wacky interiors and suicide doors.

It is so light because the pictures you see of it make it a bigger car than it actually is. I walked to the Citroën dealer today because I saw a couple of them standing outside, and it's really not a big car on the outside.

I should ask for a testdrive. I'll tell them that I just won the lottery or something.

Yeah, I think someone earlier in the thread compared it to a Porsche Cayenne. It's nowhere near the size or class of a Cayenne.

I think i'm right in saying that it's based on the Citroen C3 platform, which is a Mini-sized car. It's like comparing a Polo with a Touareg.
