Engines: 6.2L Supercharged V8
Power: 707 hp
Torque: 650 lb-ft.
Weight: 2068 kg
Transmission: 8-speed automatic
Drivetrain: Front engine, rear wheel drive
Body Styles: 4-door sedan
Additional Info: "As of typing this, it is the fastest production sedan in the world, with a 1/4 time of 11 seconds, and a top speed of 204 mph. It's also the most powerful, rated at 707 horsepower. With a base MSRP of $63,995, it's also a steal.

There are three modes for the car: Street, Sport, and Track. Street shifts smoothly and early for a more comfortable ride, better mpgs, and a quieter trip. Sport mode is faster than street mode, shifting closer to redline and featuring rev-matching downshifts. The suspension is stiffer in sport mode as well. Track mode features everything sport mode has, as well as gear shifts as quick as 160 milliseconds. It also features the increased traction control of street mode, allowing you to get on the gas quicker in the corners."

This car as well as the Challenger Hellcat defines the American car stereotype, and for that it's cool... in America. In Europe it makes it uncool, but I'm representing Kentucky's opinion of automotive coolness, not England's.

More seriously, it's the world's fastest sedan as well as the world's first sedan to have a 200-mph top speed. For that it's even cooler, regardless of where you live.

Sub-Zero.

Gets a cool from me. It's the fastest production sedan, sounds amazing, and has 'Murica written all over it.

I like the madness of it, and I'm glad it exists. However, that is in no way an endorsement of its coolness.

Ooh boy, this is going to get controversial...

Let me start this off by saying I don't really find modern Chargers that cool. This car is normally ungainly, and not that spectacular to drive.

That said, I just can't bring myself to hate this. Not the Hellcat. Sure, it's a recipe for disaster, 700-plus hp on one of the least dynamic American muscle cars? Time to have a life-long insurance deal, my friend. But still... in a era of safety, increasing tight, crazy-people-restraining shirts to any car that does not help the Amazonian forest, and where most people look at you in an angry manner because your car does not have a plug attached to it, this car feels conforting somewhat. It's the anti-Christ of the modern car era. It's the rebel that flips off the police and does a burnout coming out of the parking lot before breaking the speed limit. Sure, its incredibly sterotypical. You might as play nothing more than "'Murica f:censored:k yeah" when you drive it, and then Europeans will laugh at you when you'rr nearing a corner or at the petrol\fuel station because you ran out of it.

But this is just one hardcore man's car. I cannot bring myself to hate something so indifferent to the norm. Hate me for saying this if you wish, but I consider this to be a Cool car.

It's big. Too big. The car is longer than a Range Rover and heavier than small Mercedes Sprinter. And, I can't imagine anyone buying it for any other reason than "🤬 logic, this is 'Murica", even though, I'm not sure, if they were really driving it, because they would have ran out of fuel while trying to find a parking space big enough for this thing. Seriously uncool.

Seriously uncool. I can only imagine how big of a tool the person who buys this car must be. Also, per what others have told me who've driven them, they are just the worst car to drive anywhere other than a really long straight with no speed limit.

So mad and so pointless that it's cool. The world doesn't need one, but they done it any just because they can which is awsome. Also doesn't look half bad actually.

Very Cool

Anti-thesis to the Tesla P85D. Standing up to the cool kids makes it cool.

That said I completely get why this car might be seriously uncool.

The Aston Rapide S also got to 200 before the Hellcat IIRC.

I'm finding 190-mph ratings for the Aston, but it really doesn't matter as the Charger is still faster. The second-fastest sedan in top speed, the Tesla P85D, is ALSO from America but is the polar opposite of the Charger as it is 4WD, electric, and very luxurious. The fact that America can build the two fastest sedans in the world by two completely different means is remarkable- the U.S. hasn't achieved much in speed compared to Europe in recent years (unless you count SSC and Hennessey), and I'm glad two "normal" brands- Dodge and Tesla- are actually doing something.

How can a stereotype-proving car be cool? :odd:

If it's a locational stereotype than it's cool in the location it's from. Alternately, a car that disproves a stereotype is also cool.

Description of parking a car like this in a big European city. Or, an example of really bad English language. I hope, it's former.
Well, you're not wrong but this wasn't exactly made with Europe in mind. Although, you guys got it's Chrysler cousin if I'm not mistaken so I wonder how it does there.

It's called a Hellcat. S U.

Correct me if I am wrong, but aren't we meant to judge a car with far more than just its name?

Well, I don't see many Chryslers around here (and the only (rare) Dodges here are Ram trucks and Journeys), so I can't really judge their parking skills. But they would struggle a bit in certain places, I think.
