Glad I could help @PapaGnr it is all part of the Geezer Code, I just figured since we have a Nurse, race schedule (see you all on the 18th) that a Code can not be far behind. I was hoping for jackets or at least shirts first. I am getting my equipment and pit crew together and while we were the subject of a transmission flip came up. Well before we go to far (cause something just don't look right ) I thought I should contact my fellow Geezers and as they say a picture is worth a 1000 words:  Enjoy

good morning all. good racing last night as usual. Speaking of the Ford Falcon here is what I have been driving. I use a wheel. Maybe this will work for some.
height. 74. 68
spring. 20.63. 18.80
comp. 2 2
exten. 4. 3
roll bar. 3. 4
camber. .9. .5
toe. -21. +21
brakes. 4. 3
drivetrain. 14. 12. 5
aero. 400. 530

look forward to trying Zona's tranny setup. as always I am more than willing to share my set ups, just ask. Maybe the will work for you and maybe you will sit there scratching your head wondering how the hell he drives this POS. Nothing ventured nothing gained.

Thanks Cape ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ‘ This tune works SUPER!! Can't hang with Stewy or Tom - especially at Daytona Road Course but it works sweet for me! I use the DFGT wheel and the tune is HOT!! Ran 1:41.97 - Stewy ran a 1:40.1 I think in our testing at DRC this morning. Nice one Stewy!

Thanks daduce, but using the tune waukazoo and zona posted now on 1.39.646. Raised front downforce to 450 to give more grip but for race you need 400 gives better tyre wear.

Great photos Papa. It was one of those :banghead: days. But there's good news :D we get a chance to do it all again tommorow.

@SGETI Great tune it worked well on both of the tracks we ran today.๐Ÿ‘

I've updated Monday's geezer race post #386 on page 13 with the pit exit info for Daytona road and tire type info for Apricot Hill.

 :gtpflag:

Was still great fun to race against all of you, even though I had to find out that I'm slower than I thought, but that must be my Age...:D
Question:
what do I have to do to "officially join the Club" (if anything)???

I gave up Matterhorn Dristelen today as I can neither get to grips with my X-Bow nor even come Close to my own best time with the Tommykaira, so I just quit Matterhorn (for today, I guess)
I turned to Laguna Seca and can't beat my own quickest lap there either, driving the Nissan GT-R GT500 Stealth Model (which drives wonderfully btw, I don't want to know what some of you could achieve with this car in your Hands... but ooops, now I have told the secret already... stupid me, but that must have to do with my Age...:grumpy:)

So I think I call it a day, at least I was able to reactivate my old Headset which was lying at my Computer where no one ever needed it, so that's a Little success at last.

See you all soon again!

beyond the apex. 315 page book . this was only available to Apple users in Asia. has been converted. looks amazing. scroll down to post #16 to download.

Well, the real link is this one:

But I have enough to do to drive my cars around in circles and as a bedtime-lecture, I have more thrilling books on my tablet.:boggled:

The funny Thing is, that they are writing 197 pages book with amazing in depht Information, but in the game they are not able to set realistic camber values to cars! Or create some check-boxes to Show only selected friends when racing offline (Seasonals), so the road ahead would not be blue all over!
Some things definitely still go wrong at Polyphony! But who cares (except us)?

Well after many many red laps i managed to improve my time at Matterhorn to 1.03.535.
just waiting now for zona or waukazoo or another geezer to go past, that wont be long that's for sure.
What a good exercise in throttle control this is. :):):)

Don't underestimate yourself you have a very good time worthy of the top spot I and my fellow geezer will find hard to beat I think you nailed it when you quoted throttle controll

Which car? (too lazy to fire up my PS3 now).
SETUP???

I just looked & both @zona99 & @Stewyripper are using the NSX-R Prototype LM Road Car. Zona is at 1:03.390 & Stewy at 1:03.535. You'll have to ask them about their set-up.
Yeah, the Setup(s) would be most welcome, since I tried this car already but don't come even Close to such times!
Also not with the Tommykaira, which is a lot faster than the NSX-R Prototype LM Road Car with Praiano's Setup!!!

Well,
I have been playing golf today.
Apparently my Golf is worse than my GT6 driving (having not played a single hole the last 12 years).
I stopped after 9 holes and 12 lost balls).
That was the bad news.
The good news is, that yesterday evening I managed to improve my time at Matterhorn Dristelen by some 0,7xx seconds (!!!) , using the Tommykaira ZZ II, which is definitely the car you have to chose if you wanna be quick (real quick).
Going home now at 09:30 p.m. EST, 08:30 p.m. UK time.
Will see if the geezers are still racing, if not, I will have another go at Matterhorn.
c u (maybe),
Tom

Brilliant nights racing, can't get any better than this can it?
Many thanks to:bowdown: Waukazoo for doing a fine job of hosting as usual, and many thanks to all who turned up to race and made it the event it was. :cheers:๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ‘

My Thanks to everyone. I had a great time racing today! The class of gentelmen we have racing in the Geezers club is outstanding! The success of any event is determined by it's participants and you guys are top notch! Thank you all, I hope everyone had as much fun as I.

Ref the Matterhorn Seasonal:
I noticed the NSX-R Prototype LM Road Car seems to be a favorite. I was curious what other cars everyone has been successful getting gold with.

I haven't tried the NSX. I first got gold in a '99 Impreza STi and tried some others before I got a 106.5 in a '12 X-BOW Street and thought that was great. I tried the '11 CTS-V but I couldn't beat the X-BOW. Then I beat the X-BOW by a tenth in a '11 Lambo Aventador LP 700-4 and I thought that was great.

BUT, I beat the Lambo with a '12 Subaru S206 NBR 4 door sedan maxed out at only 591PP with a best time of 1:06.339!

That's STILL following the lines of some of you hot-shots.

Good luck EmaNymton. Keep trying!

Jay Leno's Toronado didn't qualify. :indiff: Has anyone had luck with some strange stuff?
