I've been playing around with a couple of interesting cars, possible 1 make candidates, while PSN & GT6 get their act together. On the left is the Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution IX GSR Touring Car '05 at 550 PP & on the right is the Subaru Impreza Touring Car at 575 PP. 👍 The PP could be higher, but I added weight to try to get them both closer to a 50/50 weight distribution. PS, Stewy did get a room open & managed a few races, although Tom couldn't get in after innumerable attempts with all of his accounts.View attachment 211258 Bummer 👎
Bought both of them Papa and YEP,, they're for sure contenders for some of our GEEZER racing bud!👍👍 Found a pretty good tune for the Mitsubishi in Exeter's garage and for the Subie at Bowtie-Muscle's shop. Tested them at Grand Valley on RH tires - no TC, no skid, no aids other than ABS and ran low 1:50's. With some fine tuning and a good driving line I believe they'll dip into the high 1:49's. Not bad at 550pp.

Well,
1st of all thank you for the hint!
The problem is just that some (not all) geezers (+my other friends) are (just a fraction) faster than me, so the road(s) ahead are already somewhat blue.
And the more friends I add, the bluer the road may get!
Currently I have 10 "friends", so including myself there are 11 people, 5 faster and 5 slower than humble me, but at the beginning of an event, of course there are more in front of me than behind, so the road is pretty much blue while I want to start learning the track with the car currently at hand.
Of course this is getting better, the longer I drive and I clear the road from all the snails in front.
But I am still reluctant to take on too many friends as I feel it unpolite to un-friend them later just to clear the road!
But we all know that this is a long known Polyphony issue, isn't it?

look at my post #85 on page 3 in this thread, you can't turn off individual "blue lines" but you can turn them all off and on during a run.👍
PS: ALL my friends are faster than me but if i wait a few turns before i "turn on" the blue lines only those a little faster appear and eventually they all disappear.

I would want to remove somebody from my so called "friends"-list (not a geezer
)Is the only way to do that to put him on the "block"-list?
But afaik I would never hear a word from him any more, that's not what I want.
I just want to exclude him from my friends-list.

You can just delete the friend, pick the one you want to delete, hit triangle, scroll down to delete.

I was looking for Japan SuperGt Series 2014. I found out that Japanise have also in GT300 European GT3 cars.
GT300, Honda CR-Z, McLaren MP4-12C GT3, Nissan GT-R GT3, BMW Z4 GT3, Porsche 911 GT3, M-B SLS AMG GT3,
Audi R8 LMS Ultra, Toyota Prius, Aston Martin V12 Vantage GT3, Subaru BRZ, Lamborghini Gallardo GT3,
These cars were on this series.
Tracks, Fuji Speedway, Suzuka, Twin Ring Motegi, some which are not in GT3. Why not have european tracks also?
Could be idea to have similar series with above choices, we can find quite many in GT6. Could be with rules that makes
cars equal fun races or choice of 3..5 different cars all must be used once and everybody has possibility to decide on which
track.

There must be something wrong with this Seasonal TT Formula Gran Turismo @ Silverstone!
Has anybody ever watched the replays of the 2 fastest drivers in the World Ranking List?
Well, #1 is
JDM-D1_DRIFTING
driving a 1:24,417 (!!!) which is 4 seconds faster than #2
His Top Speed: 476 km/h on the last long straight
Sound of the car is completely different than mine (or even of #2)
He's driving with all aids off, but WITH A CONTROLLER (STICK) with manual shifting!
#2 is:
TRL_IMMORTAL
driving a 1:28,487
His Top Speed: 351 km/h on the same last long straight (125 km/h slower than #1)
He's driving also with all aids off, but with a wheel and manual shifting!
I just wonder what the secret is behind this miraculous time of JDM-D1_DRIFTING's 1:24,417 ?
Can this time and top speed be achieved legally or is he using a hack that others don't know?
What makes me specially suspicious is the strange sound of that car (and the top speed, of course).
My current best time is 1:37,330 and my Top Speed there is 347 km/h and my rank is 1920, so I don't bother or be jealous for this #1 time, the question is just:
HOW HAS HE DONE IT???
I don't think that this can be a matter of Setup only, there must something else (legal???) be going on, and I would like to know, what it is!
Or in other words:
I would like to smoke what he must have been Smoking before driving this lap!!!

Anyway.
yes it is a hack called hybrid, engine swap from a faster car, more changing savegame data.
It was used in GT5 with a program called "GT5GarageEditor"
So they now managed to do it to GT6 again.
Reminded me of the clip "civic from hell" "veyron from hell" etc.etc.
I recorded that replay from JDM-D1-DRIFTER and uploaded to my channel
with "cheater ?"in the title.
It just doesn't add up.
That person drives like driving the Redbull X2014 in GT5 for the first time.
