How there are many geezers who have not yet created the new PSN GZRxxxxx , and do not participate in this fórum , I suggest we can all send our friends a standard message explaining how to do this.:)
My english is poor:nervous:
I for one am not sure how to make a new user. I imagine I need to do it in the PS3 main menu. I also understand I can't use the same email address as the one associated with my current user name. I'd have to make an email address with Yahoo or Gmail I suppose?

Basically, yes. See Stewy's post #2481 - I can't do the quote thing from my mobile:dunce:. The email must be a valid (new) email needed to verify the new PSN ID.

Howdy

I use a single gmail account for several ID's Here is how:
  1. Gmail allows aliases by appending a + then the alias to the part prior to the @
  2. First Acct uses scclockdr@g.....com = SCClockDr29379
  3. Next Acct uses scclockdr+gzr@g.....com = GZR_SCClockDr
  4. Next uses scclockdr+gt5@g.....com = SCClockDr-GT5
on and on you can go. All PSN mail goes into the same Gmail account and PSN accepts the email addresses as valid.

I use the same PW for all PSN accounts.

I learned a bit too late to append the birth date (Real month and day, desired year ie. SCClockDr-68) onto the user name to help with not missing a birthday car and account recovery.

Ahhh thanks for that, I already have three accounts and the email address was starting to get to me

I ran the current Seasonal race and won the VW Schwimmwagen '42, so I now have a elderly 4WD vehicle! Thanks for the suggestion @PapaGnr and @SCClockDr 👍 I spent a few credits to increase the horsepower and took it to the 4WD Challenge Series. The rest of the competitors had a huge laugh when I showed up, but I had the last laugh when I put a smack-down on them at all three race tracks:mischievous::) The Schwimmwagen is quite a machine!

I then took my Chaparral 2D to La Sarthe and won the 24 minute race, so I'm done!:D

The following is the list of the cars I used and the mileage I've racked up:
Car name ----------------------- miles driven
------------------ --------------------------------
Honda N360 '67 ---------------------- 15.4
VW Schwimmwagen '42 ------------- 18.1

Good morning Geezers, this weekend is the final of the touring car series. It will be manic, the car will be the

Ford Focus ST 13 fully tuned, at Matterhorn Dristelen and it will probably rain.

nos can not be used

Just ran this one with @PapaGnr and it's slippery as an eel.:lol::lol:

If i declare a wet race this weekend, tyre choice will not count.

@PapaGnr has a room open for practice geezers.

The car specs are 495bhp, 539pp, 1198kg. make sure you remove all the weight possible and have wet tyres available.

I have run this event with @PapaGnr and @Daduce1947 several times and the weather is totally random.:nervous::nervous::nervous:

Geezer racing club id 1027452. @PapaGnr has loads of events going on in his club, id 1007704

room will be open at 08.30 EST 13.30 UK racing will start 30 minutes later.

:cheers::cheers::cheers::cheers::cheers::cheers::cheers::cheers::cheers::cheers::cheers::cheers::cheers:

For those of you struggling to open new accounts, follow this guide.

Create a new account name it GZR_your usual account name, (GZR_name) make up an email address to use with it

which must work as they will send you a confirmation email, which you must reply to or it's no account. your email can

be anything you like, but not one your already using on ps3. use g mail or something like that.

Next you will sign in to psn and get your anniversary cars then your done.

Next play game until you can get online with it, two licences to do then grind for credits.

When you win cars do not oil change them most of what we do will be run as is no tuning etc.

Enjoy. any probs let me know.

Hello - I understand all of the above except I don't know why the no oil change as cars deteriorate in power as they age. Refreshing oil brings them all to the same power. New cars would have to be purchased just prior to the event in order to have max power. P.M.

Good morning Geezers i now have the final results for the Touring car series.
Champion for 2015 is
1 @PapaGnr 214 points.:bowdown::bowdown::bowdown:
2 @oldboy43 162 points
3 @Stewyripper 151 points
4 @geezer1791 148 points
5 @nordschleife51 143 points
6 @matilda1234 134 points
7 @pepper mallard 117 points
8 @flying_low 101 points
9 @Daduce1947 100 points
10 @elgcee42 87 points
11 @SCClockDr 84 points
12 @cheeves1956 57 points
13 @waukazoo 39 points
14 @maxthrottle 36 points

The last meeting yesterday was very difficult in the wet, a damp track made traction somewhat difficult in places with it changing lap by lap
A very big well done to all who took part in the series.

Now for next weekend.

1st race will be fully tuned up or down to 400pp any tyres

2nd race will be fully tuned up or down to 630pp any tyres

3rd race will be fully tuned up or down to unlimited pp any tyres.

nos is not allowed

You can use any car you like for each event, as for tracks they will be voted for on the day.

Thank You @Stewyripper for organizing your Club and these Saturday events. Though I was a bit tardy to the party I had a blast. Your diabolical final spectaculars are a treat and sure help quell the tensions of fender to fender racing of the prior races.

Thanks to all you kind participants, you compete fiercely with class, I am indeed glad to have found this group as it has amplified my enjoyment of GT6.

God Bless you all!

SCClockDr29379 has a track up to check out will share to My Geezer account next. Enjoy!

That was quick, I've only downloaded the app and had a quick look at work, looks pretty good without trying anything to detailed.
I am having trouble downloading the update on my PS3 , gets to 75% quickly and takes another 45 minutes to get to 81%, was then bed time so left it on overnight only to have an error occur, tried again in the morning, same thing ,quick to start and had to turn it off to go to work. Hopefully third time lucky tonight.

There is much detail to be had, I just shared my initial efforts at some simple stuff. Will probably build 5-10 tracks just to compare the initial settings before I add scenery n stuff.

Good morning geezers, hope you are all looking forward to this weekend coming.

I see lots of tracks appearing with the track creator, looking forward to running some events on them soon.

Not to change the subject, but it's nice to see some Geezers getting into the Track Path Editor. I had to borrow my wife's Android tablet to use the editor. Some of you have already created or found some really fun tracks. Some are a blast and some are horrifying to run like the "Thumper" Wauk-azoo got from Jake_Moon (with the right car it's great).

I created "Ear Popper" to have a place to run the 900+ PP cars in the mountains. I'm trying to create one track a day and I'm checking my friends in "Community" to see what they have found.

I'm looking forward to seeing what develops over the next few months.

Qship

PS: Just ran Jay Leno's Tank Car at "Ear Popper". The torque was great climbing the mountain and nothing gets in it's way.

PSS: I'm finding many tracks that are just slapped together and saved. I've gotten to where I'll test my tracks 50-75 times, tweaking it until it flows and is what I want, running various PP cars. THEN, I'll detail it and run it another 20+ times, getting the "look" I want with the few tools available to make it look like a GT6 track. Only then will I save the track.
Friend request Qship and ENJOY

Stewy news

headlines

Yesterday at Spa Francorchamps in Belgium

the 630 pp race was won by:bowdown: Geezer1791. this reporter can reveal that at the driver's podium Geezer got drunk and told me to shove off, and we better get used to him winning.

Later on during the day it was reported that the same driver was caught up in the mayhem in London.

Pictures to follow.

London yesterday, the same gang of drivers that were reported on a couple of weeks ago, again caused mayhem around the centre of town.
There was a police car involved which was severely damaged but it is unclear as to whether he was trying to stop them or racing with them
The driver was unavailable for comment, he got away without being questioned.

There were no reported injuries at this time but several cars were severely damaged.
Bystanders were terrified when drivers were seen to be drinking champagne behind the wheel whilst driving and some were even reported to be driving the wrong way around the one way system.

Late news in, it is understood by this reporter that it was a race with no rules. an unconfirmed source who wished to remain anonymous said ,"he believed this sort of thing happens nearly every weekend".
When asked when and where the next event would take place he passed out, no one else was available for comment
as they had all gone to the pub to get:cheers::cheers::cheers: before the next race in the desert.

gone to the pub:cheers::cheers::cheers::cheers::cheers::cheers::cheers::cheers::cheers::cheers::cheers:
