Another good day's racing at Brands Hatch, above is the summary of results.

Next week will be manic it will be the Ford Focus ST 13 fully tuned at Matterhorn Dristelen and it will probably rain.

Just ran this one with @PapaGnr and it's slippery as an eel.:lol::lol:

If i declare a wet race next weekend, tyre choice will not count.

@PapaGnr will have a room open for practice geezers.

:cheers::cheers::cheers::cheers::cheers::cheers::cheers::cheers::cheers::cheers::cheers::cheers::cheers:

In order to do the kind of results I do now everyones alt PSN would have to be on my alt PSN friends list.
In anticipation of The Geezer Club for GT7 (I may be 80) I set up a PSN of "GZR_Geezer1791" thinking that those that
wanted could use the GZR_ prefix to show their Geezer affiliation.👍 I also created a community club GZR_Geezer Club #
one 0 5 zero 4 seven 8. If anyone who wants to participate in the "special" Geezer TT events will send a FR from their alt PSN to my GZR_Geezer1791 PSN I will try to do the results.

PS: @Dragonwhisky - Thanks for keeping an eye on us Geezers and trying to keep us out of trouble. We are all still learning.

Edit: Changed club number,

Daduce_1947 will here-to-fore (for GZR TT's and GZR racing events) be known as (BKA):

GZR_Dad_U_CE_47

Now that we've that accomplished,, I'll be sending our 'ol bud Geezer1791 (GZR_Geezer1791) that FR and commence the arduous tasks of nailing down the licenses required to compete in the online GT6 events as a "FORMAL GEEZER" 👍👍

Good morning Geezers, this weekend is the final of the touring car series. It will be manic, the car will be the

Ford Focus ST 13 fully tuned, at Matterhorn Dristelen and it will probably rain.

nos can not be used

Just ran this one with @PapaGnr and it's slippery as an eel.:lol::lol:

@PapaGnr has a room open for practice geezers.

The car specs are 495bhp, 539pp, 1198kg. make sure you remove all the weight possible and have wet tyres available.

I have run this event with @PapaGnr and @Daduce1947 several times and the weather is totally random.:nervous::nervous::nervous:

Geezer racing club id 1027452. @PapaGnr has loads of events going on in his club, id 1007704

Received the new G29 wheel yesterday to replace the broken G27. :D First impressions are that it is smoother than the G27, really positive feeling and the brake pedal, to me at least, feels much better, more like the real thing.

Much nicer to have all the buttons in one place and it does not thrash backwards and forwards but gently revolves instead, much nicer.

Now all I have to do is hope that this is the 'magic bullet' and I shall now head the leader board.

Did you hear that pigs are flying. ;) :gtpflag:

How did you make out with the G27, did you receive any credit? Glad to hear you are pleased with the outcome on the G29.

Stewy news.

Breaking news,

Flying pigs spotted over the westcountry today, our English roving reporter captured this image.

people are being warned to stay indoors and not try to approach the pigs, one was seen stealing a Ford Focus for the Saturday race event at Geezer Racing.

It is understood by this reporter, that information received from an anonymous source,
a human will be driving the car if the police don't find it first.:lol::lol:

Enjoy
:cheers::cheers::cheers::cheers:

The wife received a phone call from the original supplier yesterday apologising for being unable to replace the G27, no longer available, but offering me a full refund. Who's a luck bunny then? I am still awaiting the promised email setting out what I have to do regarding returning the old wheel. Will keep you posted. 👍

Excellent! 👍👍👍👍 And I think I have found my new negotiator. :dopey:

In the light of the new GEEZER TRIALS and the need to find early cars thought I'd post this list for you to download if, like me, I don't really have a clue of what I'm looking for.

Sorry, should have added that if you don't have Excel then Apache Open Office will open it and it's free.

@mots asked me if there were any "GZR rules" for the new Seasonal races. I told him "no". because nobody, other than

yourself, can monitor whether you're using GZR cars or not.

To clarify, "GZR cars" are pre '69.

So far I've won the 450 PP race with a '68 Fiat 500F & '54 Corvette Convertible. Won the 500 PP with a '54 Mercedes SL.

Going to try the 700 PP with a '67 Chaparral 2D, when I grind a few more $. (have won with the 2J on my main account)

So, use any car that suits your fancy, or, challenge yourself with a GZR car. ;)

Either way, HAVE FUN. :gtpflag:

Actually I ment TT's not the new seasonals done by GZR_ ( like pp500 is there any changes allowed or are all driving new cars no tuning no oil / body rigidity change

Mots

When the new TTs arrive on October 7, we'll start doing the GZR TT Challenge using as bought GZR cars.

No oil, tuning or body changes. Paint, wheels, numbers & brake bias change are allowed. A transmission swap may be

done only if top speed hits rev limiter. In this case only move top speed slider.

I'll pick, test & let you know if trans swap is needed & then post the list here on October 8.

Until then. the TTs are open to all cars that meet the TT regulations.

Hope that's clear ?

So get those credits built up & buy those GZR cars. :gtpflag:

Thanks Papa crystal clear!

In an effort to get ready for the Mots Geezer Seasonal TT's,:nervous::nervous: this past weekend I decided to replay my GTsail800 game from the first Novice Race using only cars from 1969 and earlier.

I'm nearly finished with this^^^^just two more races to go (the 24 minute race at La Sarthe and the 4WD Challenge).:)

Quite an entertaining journey!:) Most of the races are good fun with a pre 1970 car.

There are seven series that can't be done (not eight as I first thought):
1) Nat'l B - Sunday Karts
2) Nat'l B - Japanese 90's Challenge
3) Nat'l A - Clubman Karts 100
4) Nat'l A - Electric Circuits
5) Internat'l B - GT Kart 125 Champ.
6) Internat'l A - GT Shifter Karts 125
7) Internat'l A - NASCAR Cup

So you can win 504 out of the 573 stars:cool:

The following is a list of the cars I've used and the mileage I've racked up with just two races to go:
Car name ----------------------- miles driven
------------------ --------------------------------
Honda N360 '67 ---------------------- 15.4
AC 427 S/C '66 ----------------------- 20.0
Shelby Cobra 427 '66 ---------------- 20.8
Corvette StingRay Concept '59 ------ 21.5
Shelby GT350R '65 ------------------- 23.9
Mercedes 300 SL Coupe '54 --------- 24.6
Lotus Europa S2 '68 ------------------ 28.8
Chevy Corvette Z06 Race Car '63 --- 30.3
Chevy Corvette Coupe C2 '63 ------- 31.9
Toyota 2000GT '67 ------------------- 40.9
Art Morrison Corvette '60 ------------ 54.9
Chevy Camaro Z28 '69 --------------- 75.0
Lamborghini Miura P400 '67 --------- 112.5
Shelby Cobra Daytona Coupe '64 --- 135.1
Jaguar XJ13 '66 ---------------------- 138.1
Ford GT40 Mark I 15th Anniv. ------ 189.9
Ferrari 330 P4 '67 ------------------- 195.2
Ford GT40 Mark I '66 ---------------- 210.4
Chaparral 2D '67 --------------------- 270.6
Ford GT40 Race Car '69 ------------- 388.7
-------------------------------------------------
Total miles driven........................ 2,028.5

I had two very close wins in the "Like the Wind" Series. I only won by 0.052 seconds in the SS Route 7 race, and only won by 0.056 seconds in the SS Route X race:eek::scared:

And I nearly lost the 24 minutes of SPA due to a bad pit-stop strategy.:dopey: I ran a one-stop race and my fuel indicator went red at the beginning of the last lap. I had a 15 second lead as I began the lap, so I drove very/very slowly and short-shifted the entire lap and won the race by 0.084 seconds:eek: over the Pescarolo Courage who narrowed my lead alarmingly fast!:( My race time was 24:02.313, so I had to go slow on the last lap, or I would have crossed the Finish line before the time limit (which would have been curtains!) because I certainly didn't have enough fuel to drive another lap!:ill:

See you on the tracks!

The '42 VW Schwimmwagen Typ 166 @ 409PP is indeed doable for the 4WD Challenge. The tranny needs some creative work is all. Just won all three to test the theory.

Nice!:)

I guess the Schwimmwagen is right at home at the Grand Valley Speedway since there is a lake, and does well at Brands Hatch because its always raining, but it must feel out of place to run the Willow Springs desert race:eek:;)
