My perplexion remains as to why you completely disregarded or ignored the damage system, and the special events such as rally racing, NASCAR and such.

Thanks Amar for the effort and indeed not disclosing too much apart from the bare essentials and thanks for answering my question (have to pay attention now when I choose, although still finding it strange and rather disappointing it only is offered once but at least I know now).
As for now, enjoy playing GT5 and don't bother answering anymore questions as we'll find out ourselves very soon.

Well that's it then, thank you Amar for sharing with us your first impressions and a few things you found in the early parts of the GT5 career.

Still plenty for us to find out about when our careers allow it ( like damage, endurance races and online).

Your effort is appreciated, much more when I think that my "Plan", when I get GT5 for myself, doesn't include posting much, In fact, I think I'll dissapear for a while!

The amount of detail is astonishing. I can't believe the amount of detail used on that interior and the selection of Supra photos with those effects are impecable.

So from what I gather from his post, A Spec and B spec have the same races? So if you win the same race in both specs, you get the same prize cars? Seems wierd, but maybe I read it wrong.

wrt the blank audio file, i dont think it has to be a full songlength and therefore 64MB big.
i did a small 134kb file that should do the same trick (if the game like mono files too )
