GTP Karting: General Series Discussion

I might as well get this out of the way now...
I'm relatively new to GT6. I've never participated in a series like this and especially karting.

So after reading the regulations, I only have this questions about-

Drivers must register their helmet design and colours before their first Race.
Drivers must register their race suit design and colours before their first Race
Drivers must register their Kart Colours before their first Race

I've never messed with helmets, suits, or car colors (other than know where they are to change them).
Is there a method to "register" these things... do we export something, import... -I'm lost on this.

Lastly - I've only driven karts in the game as they came up in the progression of the game. Unlike the other types of cars and driving methods / suggestions made (by the game) - there has been zero - in regards to how to drive a kart.

Maybe a short karting class before the trials in May? Some pointers on driving.. and once again, I know nothing about tuning a cart (when the time comes).

I"m looking forward to this experience.

@jomo23 If you want i can make a little training with you. To register, isn't in-game, just says to AJ what color paint your kart, your suit/helmet and the number of your choice.

And for tuning it's very easy, you can just change the weight/ weight balancing and the brakes balancing.
