Stop repeating yourself nobody wants this but you.

It was a suggestion, I didn't say I wanted it. So don't troll my posts, please. I'm at liberty to say anything I want. You're not the thread police, are you? BTW I've been asking for lower HP values so the tires last longer and we have closer racing. In the new LMP thread, BK has done this. Maybe if you paid attention more and criticized less you'd see that.

Sorry didnt mean to be rude, just thought it was a terrible way to help the series, I think what ever ads to the realism the better.

If realism is what you're after, then tire wear and fuel depletion turned off wouldn't be far from it! In real life, LMP's can triple sometimes quadruple(!) stint their tires. Even at LeMans! And stints last 11laps. So triple stinting tires would be 33laps on the same set of tires without any drop off. With the length of the races we do in this series. If it were really life like, we wouldn't need to change tires at all but instead add fuel. But usually I don't even have to add fuel at all during these races because you can do the whole online race on one tank.

In a real endurance race you stop maybe 6-7 times in a 6 hour race.
If we only race for 1 Hour stopping 4-5 times is a good simulation to doing a full race.

In season 1 & 2 only guys who stopped once during a race won.... That's lame. If you went for a 2 stop you were left out in the cold. More pit stops switch it up. If I had my way it would be fuel that is restricted so i would make you have to stop every 10-12 mins anyway; then give you the option to keep the old tires on when your in the pits.

I'm not a fan of the new tire wear, but its a step in the right direction . Maybe GT6 in 2019 will be better

GT6 won't be THAT far away. I'd say 2 and a half to 3 years. 2014 or 2015 is my guess. Is this series still going or are we just canceling it and going with the super LMP series? I think if you change the regs to the way they are in the other thread, this series can get back to being popular. Just invite those guys to sign up over here and restart it? Just suggesting.

I was about to say that. We aren't racing for 6 hours, so doing 4-5 stops as you said, is like doing a compressed version of an actual one. Now, if we did do a 6 hour race, then i would maybe agree to mandatory stops with no tyre depletion.

Lol short attention span here. Ill never race for more than an hour & 1/2 .......in GT5 anyway

With 680hp like originally planned- you couldn't do more than 6 or 7 laps. That's pretty sad. With the 550hp (which is closer to real life HP levels) the tire degradation won't be as severe. So tracks like Laguna Seca you can actually do 9 maybe 10 laps.

i really want to race tonight, 7 show we will race. Maybe a shorter distance but it will happen
Monza BTW

Since............... everyone has pretty much quit, or withdrew from the series cept for a few of us, im cancelling this series.

Cya next time.
