Ugh, had no discipline and probably stuffed a Top 5 or Top 7 race for me in the first 10 laps by braking too late a few times. Car was a bit too loose as well. I saw garnet parked and decided to park it for the remainder of the race due to handling trouble.

Looking forward to a comeback performance at de la Sarthe 👍

Made a mistake with my pitting, I finished with half-a-tank of fuel - well, nevermind, don't like Daytona and I was aiming for 3rd anyway, so I'm happy :)

Was it a 1 stop for you Bermuda?
 
Any details on next race? Circuit de la Sarthe weather right? How many laps? Same time next Saturday and you all should look out for me in your mirrors when I overtake you. Team Prancing Bulls FTW!

Can anyone be kind enough to post the races for the whole season? Thanks.

It's usually 18-19 laps, weather AND time change so prepare for darkness, same time.
 
Oh well at least you got 4th mu675. I was hoping for a podium while watching but bombe's tyres were in a lot better shape. I'm looking forward to next season now. I've enjoyed this season and will enjoy the last race in La sarthe but connection issues have blighted me. And with a teammate now I am a lot better prepared.

no lol. 2 stops . i dont see how anyone can pull off stopping once with how fast tires wear out.

I was way pulling away from you and mu but, i made 2 mistakes. once infront of jam i let the car spin on exit of turn one ( lap 14 or so) and in lap 38 after shum pasted the line i for some reason drove really wide around that turn where the pit exit is and spun on the grass all the way to the wall. lost @ least 20 seconds cuz i didnt move untill i saw you guys comming . I was just waiting for the damage to fix itself.
 
MC CAULEY only stopped once, so it is possible ;) Thought your tires were used up since we got so close, that's the reason I asked, did notice you were gaining on me before my pit stop.

my tires were good i think. 2/3 left. i was just on cruise control cuz i though it was backmarkers behind me. when i spun i looked back and it said bombe / mu675 and i was like oh SH##

and running out of fuel so close to the finish line

Ohhh those standings make me look like ****. But I ve been up there every race fighting for the top positions :grumpy: which I'm very surprised at considering I could never keep up with anyone first time I did one of these races.
 
You can never do well the first time. My first race I was 10 secs slower / lap on La Sarthe in my MINOLTA, doing 3.28s in dry weather. Now I do 3.12s in the R8 ;)

Remember that Jamman got 2 points on Daytona for qualifying, so he should be in 13th on the results list.

Perhaps for next season we should have some kind of point system which awards 1 point or 0.5 points per lap if you get disconnected so that you will get awarded for doing 18/39 laps. Just an example.
 
Seen ta homme, I think that puts me 2nd or 3rd in the championship and Team Bentley 2nd as a team. All i have to do is beat Ayton at the last race to take second lmfao i think i will push for third instead!

Yeh maybe but it wouldn't make too much of a difference. If you get disconnected you would get points for finishing laps but so would everyone else who finishes. No I just need to get my Internet sorted for next season and hope for better luck
 
i will update everything in 2 hours after i get back from flying or whatever it is i have to do today.. lol

I'd have to watch replay to be sure, your car may have glitched on lap 35 at the chicane right before I went to the grass. You were lapping me so I tried to give you room and you passed fine. After which golfer on the same lap as me was gaining. As I was pulling away from him I overtook you, I couldn't slow or I would get caught. I hope you don't think I was trying to race you with me being a lap down.

Was fun even though I tried to make a 1 stop work and failed horribly, lol. Hopefully I'll do a little better (finish) next race.

My bad Nash for getting in the back of you coming into to turn 1 a few laps in. I made a point to brake early since i had a bit of a draft, then looked in the mirror to see where Jake was at and when looked back I was on you and didn't have enough time to turn away.

I went from running 4s a lap slower to not be able to drive over 20mph in a curve without spinning in less then 1/2 a lap, lol.

Standings are updated. Link and the OP pics

Looks like bombe32 will go into the final race of the championship with a nice lead in the points standings. All bets are on him to win the championship, but there are 3 drivers that can still mathematically win the championship.

The factory backed Audi's have all pretty much won the Team Constructors Championship and it will take a miracle for the the Brits to overthrow the Germans now.

The battle for 3rd in the Championship now comes down to the last race where Team Peugeot have struggled for points and have all but one the privateer teams right on their heals.
