Sorry to anyone that got hit by me tonight (bk mike bomber kirk)

Don't worry mistakes happen and are all part of racing Its very easy to get caught out with drafting at Le-Mans due to high speed nature of track and the slipstream effect in GT5. You pick up so much extra speed both people brake at normal braking points but because of speed differential of maybe 10-15mph in cars contact can happen especially as me, you and Golfer were so close in those opening 4 laps and swapping positions so much.

About 5-6 laps from end I also got caught out and made contact with bermudakid in first porsche curve causing him to be pushed wide. Lucky we were both on our own near the back at time so I was able to give back position and he didn't lose any places to other cars.

Also, BK, if you want to only reg the HP, I leave my Bentley at 960 all the time so I stay used to it, so if I'm trustworthy we could do that too. lol

Yeh 15 mph speed diff is ridiculous and this is my first time in a big competive lobby... Just give me some time bombe. From what golfer has said about his first time with u lot I don't think I have done too badly

You didn't affect me this time, I would've never caught the leaders anyway, but when we reached the chicanes on the Mulsanne straight you flew up in my ass (ouch). It's clear it's not intentional, but when it happens twice perhaps the third time you would be more careful.

Your Indiannapolis overtake though was ridicilous, but we'll leave it there and hope you improve. Not like Johny who got worse...

BK said season would be pushed one week extra.. hope it's not true, I doubt that more people would show up because it was pushed..

This.

I've done a lot of testing with you AMF but the amount of times you've ran in to me on the chicanes is ridiculous. BK actually used to have an individual point about it in the OP. When your in a slipstream don't brake at your normal braking point right behind someone. With an extra 15 mph your bound to hit them. I'm sure you will learn though :)

Also, speaking of the OP, just out of curiosity it says all drivers must compete in at least 1 pre season race to be able to take part in the season races. Looking at bombe's spreadsheet, does that mean me and Mikehockey aren't allowed to race?

I wish I know the corner names ... But I get the point when near other cars give extra braking space especially in slipstream... Hope fully we can race tommorow somewhere

I am ambitious but atm no one has anything to lose in real races I will leave more of a margin rather than tryin too drive 100% all the time

Jamman: I think you and Mike would get a "special allowance" if you are interested, after all you are known to this series and did almost all of the races last season.

Adam: The Mulsanne Straight is the long straight at la Sarthe (the long one with the two chicanes).

Haven't any of you got team names yet?

Yay. Well I think Mike's position in the series is safe because he is secondary host, graphic designer and a series steward so he is evidently very important to the series. Having said that I'm the series photographer which is very important and season 3 champion so I hope that's enough to persuade BK to keep me onboard too lool :)

Ohhh ok yh sorry again it won't happen again

AMF, one piece of advice, if someone cuts a corner to pass you and then clearly goes slower to allow you through and says on the headsets that "I will let you back through" then it means they are following the rules and letting you back through since they unfairly gained a position. This happened with me and you but you just stayed sat behind me and then let Mike46 pass both of us

Adam is getting a lot of guidance, lol :D

Is anyone racing on Saturdays that I don't know about (BK probably too)? Freshseth, Drum, EFJ, rocko? Peter?

I went in gravel sorry so i had to make sure i didnt spin :D

And ur right bombe but i am tryin too remember it all LOL

EDIT:
Racing, competing, is in my blood. It's part of me, it's part of my life; I've been doing it all my life. And it stands up before anything else.

By being a racing driver you are under risk all the time. By being a racing driver means you are racing with other people. And if you no longer go for a gap that exists, you are no longer a racing driver because we are competing, competing to win. And the main motivation to all of us is to compete for victory, it's not to come 3rd, 4th, 5th or 6th. I race to win as long as I feel it's possible. Sometimes you get it wrong? Sure, it's impossible to get it right all the time. But I race designed to win, as long as I feel I'm doing it right

A few quotes from the greatest driver that ever lived that sums up how i race....

If we get the regulars who skipped preseason, to race next week, that's like 13 or 14 cars. If we get the regulars plus two or 3 of the people who raced wednesday night, that's a full grid. Keep the faith BK.

If you'd teamed with me in the Bentley, maybe you'd be more excited, lol.

At least 2 guys missing next week though, so don't expect a full grid.

I'm missing a team mate, but I'll live without... no one has the courage to use the Courage.
