Peter declined my offer as he said he couldn't guarentee he wouldn't ask for cake. So if golfer gets the GT one, we've agreed to be teammates. I'm sure he will confirm it while I'm gone :)

THE SETUP!!!!!!!!!..............................
where is it?
 
Is this saturdays race the first pre-season event at Daytona Road. Will start doing some practice laps there tomorrow in 908. Have been spending last three days at monza and nurbergring and finally managed to gold both using pad by about .25 of a second.

I caved in with suzuka and just used the under track glitch as gold just isn't possible on that track without a wheel so finally got my carbon X1 although I never want to have drive the car again so bob can use it from now on.

Just need to complete the last 3 endurance races in A and B spec and will almost have all the trophies.
 
Still think the Le Mans 2005 pre season should be replaced with a street circuit because it might not work with 16 cars on a narrow track
 
Sylar: I guess you're referring to the Vettel Challenge. When you say using the pad, is that the X and square button, plus the arrow buttons?
With the DS3 it IS possible to gold it though, since it was possible to set controller sensivity to 7, but the (what-do-you-call-them-in-English) sticks are needed for more precision.

Le Mans 2005 is a good track. A city course would work if people are patient and don't try to crash everyone else when making overtakes - *Johny*. When you can have a F1 race at Monaco, then why not LMP?

Yeah the Vettel Challenge I was using the analogue sticks for steering and accelerate /brake. The only problem with that setup is unlike a wheel you can't left foot brake. Using the shoulder buttons for accelerate /brake rather than changing gears is probably a faster setup but I have just become too used to the analogue sticks.

:lol: I didn't decline your offer. I'd be happy to be your teammate :D I can live without cake, i'm not Jenson Button.
 
I'll be on a team with you bombe. I must say I tend to do well at endurance races. You can drive with me tomorrow or something if you want though. One problem: I don't have the car.

Oh yes, I use the R2 as throttle and the L2 as brake, while steering with the left stick.

the setup................................
Oh well, I will have to wait an entire week

I was wondering, I'm going to take a few shots for the OP today however you need a few things for that:
1. cars
2. tracks
3. drivers
4. an idea of what you are taking them for

I was thinking of taking a picture of the start/finish line on all the circuits in the calender (not pre-season) and then allow BK to use them in a really small size.

Mostly though, I want to get some shots of LMP cars at different street cirucits and at just before the ford chicanes at night at Le Mans and one of LMP cars racing through the chicanes with the massive Le Mans logo next to it. I would like you all to cut the 1st ford chicane at very high speed so that there is a large amount of motion blur to play around with. Just don't hit the sand

Would anyone be interested?

Blur is ugly. Besides, just change the "speed" of the camera, so-to-say. There's a 1/250, 1/500, 1/1000 option when taking a pic. The longer time it takes the camera to shoot, the more blur., so no need to cut :P

That's late, was hoping earlier but will work. Race starts at 9:30? Work at 6am :(

So tomorrow or next week? Guess I better decide on the car, BMW or R92CP.... Will have to check tire wear on them tonight

I think so as we still don't have official refs, lol.

Man both the R92cp and Bmw are a good deal slower then my 787, makimg it hard to choose them, lol.
