It takes 20-30 mins to get 4 millions to buy another 908... :P

I would think it depends on who wants to team up with each other.
+1

well I will say this now. Me and MU want to team up in the 908 Total. However if the HP limit is over 700bhp, he will drive the Sauber.

i thought he already said he wanted the sauber.

only on a high BHP limit as that is where the car is in its element. Also, is the Daytona pre-season today?

im not choosing the regs till sometime during the week

* only 3 drivers have done times in the Indy Road Course Testing, bombe , tissimo , & jamman48.

its taking me forever to get my testing done, an to get good times in rubbish cars.

hey tis have u decided on what car to use in season 4. ill be sticking with mazda as usual. :)

You're doing weekends right? I'll team up with you again with the mazda...

For weekdays, going with something different, but not sure what..

BK, I thought we had all hp bases covered between the 3 if us?

So, a week till the new season begins. Can't wait to get racing again :)

yeah and two pre season races inbetween?!!
Also, we need to all decide on what course we use for the street circuit.
The list of decent courses are:
Tokyo
Madrid
Rome
London
(I'm kidding)
SSR5

Personally, I feel that SSR5 is the best circuit because it provides the spectacle of an excelant night race, for the entire race. The tight middle section rewards a fast, consistentdriver who is willing to push the car rght up to the barriers but then on the main straight, it allows for great overtaking since it is soooo long.

Stop it golfer. Stop hating Monaco :P There are only 2 decent city circuits:

Monaco (Côte d'Azur)
Tokyo

All the others are too short and too simple.

Rome and Mardid suck imo. They both seem identical apart from a bit of elevation in Madrid. Tokyo is going to be a nonstop draft battle and is crash prone, but nevertheless pretty good. SSR5 is good, but the high speed turn 1 is accident prone, and being a night race for the entire night, some may suffer because of the very poor headlights on some standard cars. I'd go with Monaco, it's definitely my favourite track in this game, and i'm destined for pole and victory :embarrassed:

Rome is good for street cars but Madrid could potentially be a draft-battle too. Why about Suzuka or Fuji?

............. turn 1 is accident prone,....................................................some may suffer because of the very poor headlights on some standard cars.

we race le mans at night, turn 1 at every track for us is accident prone

I forgot Monaco. Sorry. I knew something was missing.
Rome is a great circuit but just too tight and the only overtaking is the back straight if the track is raced in reverse.
Madrid is also excellent but it is far too tight for major racing and lapping a seires of battling cars will be a disaster.
Monaco is excatly the same problem as the two of them combined. There is no overtaking oppurtunities (me, MU and Jamm have tried) unless someone makes a mistake but because you always feel like you can overtake (trust me. it happens a this track) because of the way the cars and track go, there will be lots of crashes which is bad. ANd lapping is tough too.
London has no pit lane.
SSR7 is a straight line and no pit lane.
Tokyo is just a long boring lap and then a draft battle. And the pitlane is nearly invisible so there wil be people hitting it
SSR5 is the best because while it is tight (it is a street circuit), it has a very long open straight which allows fine overtaking. Turn 1 and turn 2 are very high speed but crashes are minimal since the overtaker gets such a good draft that they are already way ahead. The rest of the lap allows tight and close racing until the straight with the behind car waiting to pounch. We already race at night and it has a sick pitlane. Also the downhill/uphill chicane is just epic. And the part where you race through those trees

anyone been watching the 24 hours Spa? one car got excluded after they were given a drive through but the radio failed so the driver never knew

Hang on sorry I got confused.

I thought I was going on holiday next Wednesday, but it is in fact this Wednesday. As some of you already know I'm going to Majorca which should be nice. For a week, so I'll be back for Pre season 2. Means I'll be inactive from the forums obviously too for a week :)

MU said that thread activity is low because he is banned (I still smile at this)
However, we can do without his ASBO ways and let the pre-season tranquility prolong in the calm before the storm that will erupt at Daytona next weekend, traveling all the way aross the globe, from America to Italy to Japan and America a few more times and maybe a visit to Japan, Spain or Italy depending on the street circuit

But a high speed, narrow turn 1 even more so. If it's added, then ok, but i'm just warning you guys.

Rome Reverse is really the only decent street track in this game, maybe with SSR5 a runner-up.

Re: Madrid.....really??? Reeeeeeeeeeeally? Maybe if you like go-karts

Monaco or SSR5 is where it's at for the street track :)

Also I have a theory about Peter. I think he is really Jenson Button. Evidence right here:

*No Spoilers. It was before the race

Stealing my theories now are we.

Great minds think alike :P

Btw AMF is on holiday but has internet, but for sone reason can't get on GTP. He can get on CM forums though and he tells me from there that he wants the Minolta :)

I'll take the Bentley as my car of choice. It's the most stable IMO. If anyone wants to team up I'm open for it, we can share tunes to better our own as well.

is the 905 good? I'm constantly refreshing my UCD while watching 4PlayerPodcast. I know what I'm after but this might be a good alternative if I cba

I don't know what interest thread you're talking about Bermuda, but if you can add me that would be great. Just wondering the regs so I can get prepared.
