does anyone here watch the race edits of F1 on formula1.com?
I plan to create something similar to these.
Of course, I am missing all capture technology but my friend isn't (he wont be racing).
I plan to take all the highlights of the race, take a song which I feel would go well with the race, and then condense the race into highlights of equal time as the race.
The songs will mostly be drum and bass with Ellie Goulding (either lights or starry eyed) being used if we race at SSR5 for obvious reasons if you have ever heard those songs.

I hope I am able to do this. It would be good fun to watch if done right.

Weeknight Race - Tonight Thursday 8/4/2011

TRACK - Indy Road

* Lobby Opens 8 pm est ( 5 pm pacific )
* Qualifying Race 8:30 est ( 5:30 pacific )
* Race 9 pm est ( 6 pacific)

HP For Tonights Race 630 HP
No weight extra weight added for tonight

we will run the qualifying race and the pace lap for the long race. Same 30-35 min race, 1 pitstop

Whoever was hosting perhaps had some issues with connections or something. We all saw a black screen before the race started, so I backed out the room by quitting the game. I come back to see its already started, so I left and tested. Tonight I hope there's none of that. I was competitive in lap times on my own, I'm sure I could have kept up.

bk, can I suggest a change to the OP, it is a simple yet useful and effective one when your computer screen is the size mine is. You know that picture of the race start at Grand Valley? Could you shrink it so I don't have to scroll sideways across the page to see the series info?

Also, if anyone has a GT-One, I need you tonight to run a littel photoshoot for mine and Jamman's team photo. I need you ASAP

I think it was the one guy who joined right as we started, you both dropped at the same time and the black screens went away. I'm not the usual host anyways, so shouldn't be an issue during the season.

People are ONLY interested in what happens at the final ,atch nowadays. They don't care about the bit inbetween.

Can someone quickly join my lobby if you have a GT-One? I am trying to get me and Jamman's team photo shoot but Jamman is absent so I need someone else and just before MU did it, he had to leave so can someone quickly stand in. I will shoot quickly at SSR7, Fuji, Suzuka and Le Mans. All you have to do is one lap each circuit at 90% speed, staying right with me except at Le Mans and SSR7 where you will just need to run the last corners and the SSR7 tunnel

shoot cancelled. I have an temporary alternative and will request MUs help on Saturday

I plan on making a wheel stand like Jav's. Only for the wheel. Doesnt need the chair. Its quite exiting. Oh and BK, I didnt know your throttle flys off during races? That explains Suzuka and "POOOWWWWEEEERRRRR Oversteer"

I think it says in the OP that the Season 4 pre-season race starts this Saturday. The weekninght races are the Americans who race for fun - at least as long as they're not that many.

The R10 is a ... well, I don't want to get banned for it. Let's put it this way: You need a VERY good setup for it. My suggestion is that you change the car to something else.

I'm expecting to be at Daytona tomorrow, but I'm not 100% sure if I can - we'll see.
