Must say I'm slightly annoyed after disconnecting from the race lead but hey **** happens. Maybe as there were a lot of disconnections and it was the first race the guys who disconnected could get a few points each? Because I know for a fact I know I would've been no lower than 4th if I hadn't disconnected with 10 laps left.

Either way though it was a good 32 laps I did. Had great battles with tissimo, BK, Jake and Razor. Espescially tissimo who I was basically side by side with for the whole of the first 18 laps before I pitted lol. Really enjoyed and now on to Fuji

Btw, was there anyone who didn't complete the quali race - and if I am lucky enough, tissimo, could you add a pic of the starting grid - to give the MPG award

I don't have the replay as I disconnected. Also I'm guessing we are waiting on BK as to whether me, mike and kirk could get a few points or maybe the points from 8th, 9th and 10th

I'm pretty sure it was Jake who was fastest. And due to Jamman disconnecting and then being to bone idol to join again, only I am taking photos of this race.

I wouldn't count on that. I think we agreed (a long time ago?) that disconnects = mechanical problems in the car = no points. It would be too difficult to decide the points you would get - how would you get them? Based on your position? When you got disconnected?
And remember, we can't calculate on whether you would make mistakes etc, etc...

On a positive note, back to the garage to work on my setup. I'll most likely be there next week

Exactly that's accounting for mistakes. If I get the points for 8th, 9th or 10th. Although in reality it was very unlikely I was going to fall any lower than 4th

Anyway I'm not all that bothered. I'm just frustrated after driving well and having a fun race. Anyway though still 6 rounds left and chance to pull it back. Still, not a good start to my title defense...

Up until the disconnection that was one of the best races I've ever done in this league or even on GT5. Five drivers fighting for the win on 1, 2 and 3 stop strategies. Plus loads of wheel to wheel action. I couldn't wait to see how it all panned out. And tissimo took the surprise victory over Jake with his clever strategy

This is what happened during my race...I stopped capturing and got DC'd later. Haha. No qualifying hurt me bad. Always next week, though!

Yep. I'll probably do something like it for this Wednesday's race. I like being able to see me driving and the screen. Still working with the size and camera position but definitely making progress

Nah man I really did. I paused it for a second and I hit resume and it got disconnected. Pretty weird to happen but still, no hard feelings
