Testing at the moment, Personal Best 1 57 413 Sauber C9.

Edit: 1 57 206

That's really good pace for the Sauber. 👍

Wondering now if I should head out to see if I can improve on my other PB times.

Someone forwarded me this, seems interesting, I think it would be cool if our best went out to compete against others !

SpeedEnergy
Hi, i see you have an LMP series. Well i'm currently in a league that has an LMP series running currently too. i am messaging you because i was wondering if you are interested in a "league showdown" with our league, in which you take your top guys, and we take our top and have a showdown type race in LMP cars, please reply if you're interested or not. if you are, we can set up all details and go from there.......PLEASE REPLY
OK, I just got this from a guy named SpeedEnergy.
I talked to him about it a bit, and it looks like it could be pretty fun.
He has league he participates in at http://www.seetheair.com/
Thought maybe you'd want in on this?
I'd grab a few guys from my series, you could take a few from yours, and he'd take a couple from his.
Would you be up for this?

Meh, we can take them easy. Jav (and I think ALMS are using Blaze) aren't anything special :sly: Bring it on 👍

Hey that picture looks familar, lol.

I knew that was a good photo. Lucky one too. Video says it all. Although they have it all out of dimensions. I want royalty payments sent directly to my bank account!! I am taking out copyright on the photo!! I will be famous. I probably am not even credited as being the photographer for a league I have never heard of :banghead:
(that smilie looks like he has come to terms with having no arms and wants to get his hat off)

So this LMP showdown is between us, another LMP league and a NASCAR league or am I on the wrong page? The link is to NASCAR. But anyway, I guess you are going to pick me because when I am doing well, I am good and when I am not doing so well, I can still overtake and then defend viciously so I would actually be key in this.

After our Season 5 is over, a showdown race might be entertaining.

A one-off, 2-hour race at Circuit de la Sarthe? 7+7 reserved slots for entrants from each series, decided by the top qualifiers of anyone who wanted to try out with a lap time. Two slots for organizers or an impartial steward or something and a video guy to stream the race live on USTREAM.

If it had a live stream, we might be able to get this on the front page of GTPlanet.

2 hour race would be good. The weather is 🤬 so it would be best to have it dry. We could have a commentator from each series (simply mute them if you don't want commentary) and then the commentary would be streamed over a live feed if set up as well. I would be up for commentary. 2 hours of discussing racing with someone from the other league.

But yeah, commentary from two guys which can be heard over the live stream, 7 from our league, 7 from the other. One guy streaming the race. That way, people can watch the stream and know what is happening at two other points of the track. Perfect. I could create a thread in the help desk and label it as site news to see if we get offers for a host for the stream and then Jordan may take note.

Depending on times, 2 hours of La Sarthe would be good for me 👍 . Don't expect me to be fast though - i'm an LMP2 at best

Hey, are we gonna do rain at Spa?? If so then I gotta start practicing to get a better setup for rain instead of the garbage I ran at Suzuka, lol. I plan on having a better showing this race, and hopefully I won't rage out again, lol. ;)

I say make it four hours! 2 hours is still rather sprintish. So, 60 laps at La Sarthe to really test the drivers.

Peter.

I'd think anything over 40 would be excessive. Unlike you PJ, however, I'm not taking my participation for granted. ;)

I'd think someone such as yourself might want to show up focused and ready on Saturday at Spa. As in someone fast, hoping to make the all star team, and yet someone yet to record any good finishes of note in the series.

I doubt I'd race in the All-Star one (I don't even know if I'd qualify lol), but if there IS commentary and a live stream, I'd definitely watch!!!

And when will the final word be made on if we're doing rain at Spa?

Well so far my PB is 1:58.605 and I am fairly consistent in running around 2:00. In all honesty I'm really not much of a "hot lap" racer. What my fastest times usually are is where I run on a consistent basis, and I'm generally pretty good with tire wear. So as long as it stays dry, I should have a much better showing this week, lol.
