This Saturday's race is a no go for me. Got a church Christmas play practice to go to, then i'm hosting a 100%, fully realistic race in F1 2011 afterwards, right here on GTP. Everyone is welcome! The poll is still up, and Melbourne and Monaco are tied 6 votes. Someone go vote please!

That sounds fun, Peter, but 100% just seems to be setting up for about 3 or 4 drivers to finish the race.
Maybe some 50%ers over the Xmas break, though. I'd love to race with you, Golfer, Seb, Am, et al.

We've had at most nine drivers starting the race, and last race at Brazil a few weeks ago, we finished that race with 4 drivers. Only because of the other drivers crashing either due to errors, or lapped cars. No drivers quit, and this time it's looking like we will have a grid of over 10 drivers.

Nah sorry, one of my main PRL championship is on Saturday nights after this. I remember you invited me one a few weeks ago when I was in the middle a league race. I put specifically no invites in my comment and I said I wasn't available but that didn't seem to stop you from sending half a dozen messages -_-

11pm GMT isn't exactly convenient, especially as the race is 100% as well. You could join us one night. There's a more casual championship on Friday nights if you'd like to turn up for that one night, to show yourself.You should have a look at PRL peter. Someone like you would be warmly welcomed. GT5 Update 2.02 and DLC announced.
Here are details:
Kazunori Yamauchi has announced Gran Turismo 5s next software update and new downloadable content will be coming on December 20, 2011. Via Twitter:
[Japanese tweet, translated:] GT5 next update, DLC, Christmas is one week later. On December 20. Tomorrow is going to be a press release.
[English tweet:] The release of the next GT5 update, DLC, and Christmas present is coming next week.
Polyphony Digital has already posted an online service maintenance notice for the date, between the hours of 03:00-04:00 GMT, so the new material should become available at that specific time.
UPDATE: Sony has jumped the gun a bit, posting all the information about the new content on their blog. Heres a complete listing of all the new changes coming in GT5 2.02:
Users can now change wheels on Standard cars
The settings sheets will include a new copy feature
In GT Auto, players will be able to see how the oil changes, aerodynamic parts, engine overhauls, and racing modifications will affect performance points and engine power, before and after their application
Free coupons have been added that allow you to wash cars, change oil, overhaul your engine, or refresh the car body in GT Auto (10 coupons will be distributed for free to each of those who have downloaded the 2.02 update)
Pressing the Square button in the car coupon selection screen of the Car Delivery will now allow you to exchange all car coupons at once, rather than doing one at a time
In screens where the [Garage] and [Driver List] buttons are displayed in the A/B Spec events, Special Events, and Seasonal Events, pressing the Square button will now show the [Garage], and pressing the Triangle button will bring up the drivers list
In My Lounge, the room settings will feature a new Max. number of participants setting
In the event selection screen of seasonal events, there are now ☆(star) marks that show the number of Gold Trophies attained in each event
Improved racing sound effects
Elements of the steering assist controls (used when using certain controllers on Racing Karts) have been tweaked.
These new cars will also be available as DLC for $3.99:

Finally, anyone who purchased the first batch of DLC will receive a free Gran Turismo Racing Kart 125 SP along with five free New Car Refresh cards that reset any car in the game back to as-new condition, without losing any modifications that have been performed to it.

Changing wheels on standard cars is cool I guess, I'm sure that won't apply to standard lmps though. Still waiting on the r18 and 2011 908, lolol.

4 bucks for 4 cars plus a kart is fine. If you got the last package you see its a decent deal. Plus the new GTR is a beast. The Sciroco is a welcomed car as is the Golf R. Plus you get free stuff in the update. GT-86, standard wheels etc. I'll buy whatever they offer. 4 bucks aint nothing serious.
