Bimmerkid is one who thinks Civics are decent cars. Sure I know they aren't the best but when your a kid.

And no I'm not screwing my self. I was offered 17,000 for my car. Thats making monet there. I will be selling my car fo that price cause how can I refuse?

they are decent though!

No idea what you are talking about, but I love your avatar!

The Vanquish is still one of my favorite cars to drive in GT3. Dunno why...

Uh the reason you cover you headlights is so the do break.

My aren't covered. They are actual lights I put in. I thought they were just kinda cool. Everyone has those damn blue lights on there car.

My dads got an Aston Martin DB7, we got a Rolls, Mercedes SL600 V12 Sport, a new escalade and a whole assortment of other mercedes.... oh, and when i get my scanner ill post them for you to see.

What kind of car? A messed-up one. Finally got my WRX back from the shop (broken synchro), only to find both front and rear bumpers scratched. I don't mean a little nick, I mean someone took a steel-sole boot and scraped the mud off it on my bumper. Not happy, says I. :bomb:

I talk to my salesman and he says he'll "make a note of it". Right. Like I care at this point. Your shop has screwed my past cars -- especially minor minor *bumper* work -- so I think I'll just take it somewhere else. And just why would I do that? Because last night there was a storm. A heavy one. Heavy enough that it knocked a sizeable tree branch onto my rear passenger window, putting a fist-sized -- but smooth -- dent into the metalwork, along with a permanent dent into the rubber window surround. Not happy, says I. :bomb:

Wow...that's bad luck. MY02 WRX?

My mom drives a 2002 tan expedition. My dad drives a 98 ES300 with almost 100,000 miles on it, so he's looking for a new car. Its gonna be either an Infiniti G35 or M45 . I drive a blue 98 ford explorer. When I graduate HS my parents are gonna buy me a 1969 Mustang Mach 1....Im pushing for the 428 CJ. The explorer is then gonna go to my brother when he turns 16....6 months after I graduate.

Another sum up:

Fact: Civics can be made to go fast.
Fact: Most people who 'mod' them, don't make them go faster, which is what most people refer to as 'rice'.

My 3.14 cents.

true... and here's why

fact: girls like flashy and "good looking cars" (if we can call a car hidden under 300 pounds of fiberglass good looking)
fact: young teenagers would do anything for a chick... even ridiculise his own car....

fact: true car guy likes to go fast... with anything
fact: girls don't like to go fast, most of the time

so, to resume... bling bling get's ya da ladies, power get's ya da respect... :D

power!

Exactly right. I get all of the local ricers asking me "When are you gonna start modding your WRX?!?"

"Well...seeing as how it's already the fastest import in town, and I'm married so I don't need a car to make my **** look bigger, I think I'll leave it as is."

i had the same "problem" when i had my Integra...

"will you add Altezzas? a huge aluminium wing?" kids only see the appearance... there's this guy with about 5-6k worth of fiberglass on his Accord... he's got an intake and an exhaust for engine mods...

my new point of view: if it doesn't make you faster, it's pointless.

here's my ride.

Hey, its the closest i get ;)

Hey, you could strap the mower's motor to a go-kart...a hopped up 1.0 L motor would be evil propelling a vehicle that weighs under 400 lbs with driver. :D

Nice to hear the Rex is working out for you, Alt... :smilewink

...and a big :thumbsdow to rice. There are some neat looking mods (note: 'Tezzas and enormous aluminum wings are not included in this list) but I'd never spend a penny on them 'cos they don't make my car perform better.

Yes, current model. Doing better than my last one (2.5RS totaled by someone on painkillers), but the year is young yet. About 7 months into the previous lease on that RS there was a minor dent and some bumper friction...and gearbox trouble...followed by the early termination 5 months later. So if things go according to "plan", I should be upgraded to an STi by Christmas. :( Wonder what the cause of intoxication will be this time.

"Baby" is a 1992 Ford Escort GT.

Itk's kinda cute, kinda quick, and kinda PAID FOR.
Does the 68 mile round trip to and from work with nary a bobble. and gets about 30 MPG.
During the Summer my wife steals it every day I'm not working cuz' the air works.
