I will drag race your car and win.

It's got about 90.9 HP per liter. You'd probably win either way.

I always liked the Prelude - clean styling and fairly rare. Of course, I hate yours because you own it, but whatever.

113.5 hp/L here. ;)

And what kind of compression ratio does it take to get only 150 hp out of a 302? 8.0:1?

Sorry to bust up the technical debate, but i drive a '95 Golf VR6. Only just manages to break 10 secs for 0 - 100kph, but hey, at least it sounds ok :)

I have a Renault Laguna its dose the job well but i am planing on building my own car it will similer to a Lotus 7. I have the plans and details for making it.

I get 10mpg? on 93octane. Wish i owned texaco!

woops you were talking about hp/L

let me see mine would be... 100hp/L on a factory SAE rating.

That's okay, I get about 13 mpg if I'm pushing it. :)

We can only get 91 up here (92 at ONE station, but it's expensive). It's either that or C16 104 octane near the sprint car track. :)

Is it a Lomax?

Thats impossible, I did 0-100 Km/H with the 90 hp 1.8 liter 8 valve golf in 12.5 seconds. And that thing is slow! I think you arent dumping the clutch at a high enough of an rpm. You should be able to get atleast 8.5-9 seconds with a crappy start and sloppy gear changes.

ok I drive a 1995 Golf CL with all the suspension mods, wheels, performance tires, camshaft, anti-roll bars, sports exhaust, huge ass stereo system and so on. BUT ITS STILL FRIGGIN SLOW! ( except in the corners where I havent seen anyone ever go as fast as me or my bros. There is a lack of driving talent in my area but alot of ricers... I guess no driving skill and ricer go hand and hand.)

Ah yes, my car would be 50 hp/L :banghead:

i drive a 1990 Mazda Rx-7 N/A has a big ass system nice intake system( hot temptures around here was killing it so i had to flow more air) and some other stuff. heres a pic.
deliver.asp

beat that!

I like the look of the new 6s, except for the chrome strip above the grill...just looks goofy.

Oh, and with 230 hp, I can do 14.5 in the quarter...Mazda needs to up something. ;)

Close, I'm about 45 mins south of WPB. Somewhere in Ft.Lauderdale/Pembroke Pines/Cooper City.

Well the handling is really good. Maybe its because I've been driving a GMC 1500 SLT EXTCab for the past 6 years. But it's reallly nice!

14.5 eh Alt? Gimme a month or two when I have more money and we'll see whats up with mazda :D :P

14.5 is the average, yeah. I've never run mine in the 1/4.

I know with a good driver, some ice, slicks and a manual boost controller, 13s are possible.

Except your 230hp is backed by a 4wd system... :P

I like the looks of these 6s, too bad they're a bit on the slow side.

Heh - like number of drive wheels?

I can now happily say I drive six million cars, as of the most current update:

- '97 Jeep Grand Cherokee
- '88 Lancia Delta Integrale
- '99 BMW 740i
- '03 Subaru Outback VDC H6 sedan (and loving it!!)
- '03 BMW 330xi sedan
- '82 (or something) Nissan or Datsun pickup (or something)

Most of those are for sale, but I'm not selling them yet (excepting the pickup). Seems like a contradiction? It isn't.

Ah, but my AWD simply contributes to more drivetrain loss. The AWD does NOT contribute 2 seconds to the quarter mile time. The torque does. ;)

Dont think Ive posted in here before

Drive an '87 R31 Skyline 4 door auto, that has now picked up an annoying rattle, just hope it aint the (2 piece) tailshaft again, do have an exhaust leak in there somewhere as well

Will find out tomorrow when my mechanic takes a look and no doubt how much of a hole it will leave in my pocket

Nifty! Any photos?

Rover 620Ti, 1998R, 2 litre 200ps turbo charged Impreza Turbo worrier. It's a very good car, very under-rated, 145mph, 60 in 7.2 and 100 in 18.9. I'm a family man so I need a saloon, I don't want a boy-racer, but I want a car that can upset the unwary:)
