Ooo...much better. Not sure if they all have it - maybe an option or I'm thinking of a different car?

I think thats the Chrome Package or something you're talking about.. cuz I saw a few that had it but it looked ugly so I didnt get it

Nope, you've got the right car nailed down, just the wrong exact specs - the chrome thing is standard on the sport, chrome appearance, and appearance packages. It doesn't really look offensive, in my opinion...

I believe it was C&D who said it looked like a "chrome milk moustache". ;)

[Edited to correct grade-school level spelling...]

None yet, but I will get some to show all my mate's here!!!

Got it back yesterday and the problem was

.....nothing:confused:

The mechanic drove it up to his hoist, vibrating and clunking alone, ripped out the tailshaft, checked all bearings, universal joints, cv joints the lot, put it all back together and no vibration:confused:

Have noticed though that the hand brake (E-brake) is a lot tighter than before so maybe that could have been a contributing factor, I dont know

In any case im happy now that there is no noise in the thing, but I aint holding my breath
Ive got a sneaking suspision that the Auto 'box maybe on the way out

The chrome piece on the grill is an option. For some reason, Epic, I can't believe that you didn't opt for the bigger and better looking wheels.

It doesnt come standard on the sport, atleast not on mine. And mines a Sport package.

Mazkid, I didnt wanna spend the extra $$$ on getting the other tires cuz I didnt like them very much, just going to get some 17'' racing rims and save a couple hundred :D

Comes on the 6i Sport (which requires Premium), I think. I could be wrong, but I really don't give a damn - we've devoted enough posts to the chrome on the top of the grille of the best-looking sedan of all time. :)

Is this still about what we drive? I drive a 1994 3000GT VR4 with various light mods so far... it's in my sig.. anyone else drive a 3000GT or Stealth on this forum?

Rover 200 BRM :D limited edition version of the rover 200 VI. Power provided by a 1.8 VVC version of the light weight K-series engine producing around 155bhp ;) as standard, the car comes with torsion diff ,close ratio box , uprated lowered suspension and a bright red leather interior :D factory figures say 0-60 in 7.9 seconds. It will do 70mph in 2nd 99mph in third and in 4th............

this is mine
with 450 HP, this ride definitely belongs in the game
:D

ok I drive a 1995 Golf CL with all the suspension mods, wheels, performance tires, camshaft, anti-roll bars, sports exhaust, huge ass stereo system and so on. BUT ITS STILL FRIGGIN SLOW! ( except in the corners where I havent seen anyone ever go as fast as me or my bros. There is a lack of driving talent in my area but alot of ricers... I guess no driving skill and ricer go hand and hand.)

Ah yes, my car would be 50 hp/L :banghead:

you are missing a vital piece of the puzzle. My city is over 2km above sea level. 2km above sea level = thinner atmosphere = poorer performance in NA cars. A while ago an Impreza GT '99 *****slapped a M5 over the 1/4 mile for the same reasons.

At sea level, a 9 sec sprint would be a doddle....

Finally gonna get some exterior mods on the old 'Rex soon. Hail damage lately has led to a nice, fat $2,000 check from the insurance company.

First up are a set of brand-new 17"x7.5" Rota Downshifts in steel gray - hopefully will have in about a week. Second, a new set of Nitto NT 450 tires (225/45-R17) for all-season fun. Next, I'll have to replace the hood. The hail totalled it...nasty what golf ball sized hail does to aluminium.

So, a carbon fiber hood is in the works! I'll get photos once the parts begin to arrive... :)

Hmm, that does make quite a difference :P How was I supposed to know you were 2km above sea level though?

Those are the Prodrive look alikes, right? Why go with Nittos, though? The NT450s are like, 6 years old or so!

currently im driving my 84 corolla sr5..which is being in the process of being converted to gts....still drive my 90 crx...just not as much..and in my driveway, just hangin out is a 76 280Z...a restoration project.which sadly isnt going to well ( my corolla is diverting attention from it )

Yeah, they look a bit like the Prodrive GC06 wheel, but have thicker spokes. And, instead of paying ~$2,400 for the Prodrives, I'm paying $550 for the Rotas. :)

You're right, I've decided against the Nittos. I've found a set of Sumitomos that are rated much higher, have better snow traction, have better treadwear, and are cheaper.

heres a pic of my moms car (I can't drive yet), it's not my moms car, but it's the EXXACT same, color and everything:)

It's a 5 speed standard
Speedometor or w/e it's called says 240! (km/h:( )
The fastest it's gone while i was in it was 160:) My mom's an awesome driver:lol:

It's a 1989 Volvo 740 GL Wagon...

Mine's a 1996 SWB Rav-4. Pretty quick as 4x4's go, and the perm. 4wd makes for great handling.

My choice of vehicles is limited to things I can fit my Great Danes into though!
