Congrats man! Should be a fun car to play around with. My mom used to have a couple of those when she was a kid. My truck just got a little better too. Got the back window tinted yesterday.

I drive a 1991 Chevy Silverado 4x4 Pickup Truck. I love it, enough power to get ahead of those pesky ricers, some good looks( It would look better if it had a new paint job), and the option of taking off roading or just crusing in town. I used to have a plymouth laser RS, and i would love to see a Mitsubishi Eclipse, Eagle Talon, or Plymouth laser included in a GT game.. they can include Evo's.. so why not include the eclipse? Either way.. I would love to see trucks included, also.

1999 Honda CR-V LX Seriously underpowered, but (knock on wood) not a single problem with it in 5 years. Should be looking in the near future for a family car, probably a Mazda6 or the Ford 500 when it comes out (God bless the family discount).

Is the RX-8 a family car? :) :) :)

I recon any cars a "Family" car. My friends cars a 1969 Camaro, and he hauls his soon to be wife and kid around in it. Its been suped up alot and stuff.. but it still had a backseat with safetly belts. I would go with the Mazda6 if your looking for a family car.. I've heard thier great on gas millage, but also have enough get up and go.

i just bought a 1988 oldsmobile cutlass supreme (5.0L V8 w/ 4 barrel carb). it was only $1000 with 46,000mi, some old lady that doesn't drive anymore sold it 2 me. at first her daughter wanted to give it to me for free, but then the son stepped in and said $1500 (bastard), and i talked him down to $1000.

I picked this up last week.

2004 BMW 330i Performance Package (US M-Sport II package)

Break in periods suck. This car is begging to be run hard.

That is a beauty. Gotta love the M Package. I assume the 4-door was for convenience and price?

The price is still a little edgy with the performance your paying for.

But nonetheless. Great car! :D

Thanks. :)

Yea, the four doors was strictly for being family oriented. Getting a baby in out of a coupe just plain sucks.

Its not quicker than my old M3 or a G35 sedan, true. But it has them both beat in the handling dept. 225/40-18 front and 255/35-18 rear. The car has a very stout foot print.

I came close to a G35. Really, really close. In the end, I was annoyed with Infiniti's arrogance that they absolutely refused to sell me a 6-speed car at anything less than full sticker. (they say NO ONE discounts a 6-speed) Then I realised the ZHP was likely to retain its value better too. So that did it.

My good neighbor Eddie currently has an AA63 ('85 Celica GT-S Hatchback) that doesn't run... all nice and lined up for me when I get the Driver's liscence... until then, I can save up for maybe a 2JZ-GE or GTE ('93 and '97 Supra and Supra Turbo motors) to give it some punch, because why put in another 22R-E 2.4 when I hear the same motor was used in hte '85 Tacoma? :D Even the 2ZZ-GE (final-gen '00-'05 Celica GT-S motor) is nice, its smaller, it's newer, prolly gets way better gas mileage thanks to VVTL-i, and is a bit cheaper (that helps) :D
(BTW, are the AE86 and AA63 related? They have very similar proportions)

I like it, it's the last of the rear wheel drive celicas, have had a spin in the AA60 (coupe) before, and it's got the moves. Plus, I feel kinda sad... It feels like as the last of the 2005 Celicas roll off the assembly line and the tC takes its role, an era is coming to an end in Toyota performance :(
(It's always been a 'Japanese Camaro' in my opinion)

2003 Lancer Evolution Vlll

A few mods to list...
Vishnu street/race map
Turbo back exhaust and other good stuff
Fell like my stock clutch is going to go soon :guilty:

First I am going to move this thread and leave a redirect.

Then the thread will be merged into the back of the "what car do you drive" thread.

Don't know what will happen to the redirect after that so I will send a pm to the thread creator after all is done.

Enjoy the discussion over there.
Remember... lots of forums for lots of subjects. ;)

Later. :D

edit:
Alright, that worked out great.

The redirect stayed in the gt4 forum and now sends you to this thread when you use it.
Pm being sent, :D

Again,
later. :D

I just want to say that I and (probably) all of us here at GT Planet appreciate the mod's work. The forums are clean and I've now seen more action from GoKents and snoopie than I've ever seen. Nice work 👍 :D

I don't currently own a car, but I'll be getting my dad's '91 Ford Taurus, white with grey interior, tape player when I turn 16 (3-4 months).

This is my humble, humble '99 Chevrolet Corsa (in Brazil, GM uses the Chevrolet brand name instead of Opel). It´s a 1.0 liter, 60hp inline-4 engine. Not powerful, but very smooth and comfortable... It has everything (air conditioning, power windows and central locking, dark windows, a powerful sound system with a Pioneer CD/MP3 player and Sony Xplod speakers) except power steering, but it´s already so light, I don´t need it.

I LUV IT! :dopey:
