Got some pictures of your cars?

I take it you dont have a Ferrari as your location says?

Ok my big bro is not getting an Honda Civic Type-R now grrrrr but he is getting another company car. This time a new VW Passat upgraded from a Mk5 VW Golf TDi.

Hello!

I am a poor student...

But I like my Mitsubishi Colt "25" (3 Years old, and only 28000 km on the clock).

In GT Games "my" Colt is known as Mirage Cyborg ZR. But my Colt doesn´t have this cool MIVEC Engine.

But it only consumes 5 - 7 litres per 100 km and runs about 200 kmh on the autobahn.

A few weeks ago I drove an BMW M3 with SMG and 343 hp. THAT Thing ROCKS.

Have Fun

Well, seeing as I don't have a car yet ( :( ), I'll toss up a pic of some of the cars our family has.
This is my dad's daily driver.

I'd mention the car I drive alot, my moms car, but I think I might get killed.

D*MN!

So we've got a girl who
1)Knows ALOT about cars
2)Is hot
3)Has a Maserati and probably a BMW or Mercedes at her disposal....
4)And a Texan

I think I might need to end my vacation and head for the south. ;)

E55Power
hehe, thanks.
Maser isn't at my disposal though :(
I have driven it some, though.
No Bimmers or Mercs here.
And it still probably beats my old car or the 645.
And hey....at least you got to drive it. :indiff:

Well, that beats the **** out of my first car.
You must be what? 18?
Excuse my asking.

All I had for my 1st car was a 3000GT.

E55Power
Also, PFFT, I wouldn't complain about a 3000GT for a first car (Esp if it was a VR4)

[sorry for the double post]
Yes, it was a VR4.

Well, for a 15 year old girl, a Cayenne is extremely impressive. At 15, I drove a 944 Turbo S only 2-3 very short times. Never saw the car after that....Certain things happened, I'll leave it at that.

Again, I don't own the car, it's not mine, I just drive my moms car alot.

And, however you think about it, a VR4 is very impressive for a first car, and much nicer than I'm buying in a few months.

It was ok. Hail dents all over it.
Ended a terrible way.

I'm 16. 2005 Suzuki Forenza Wagon S. In Fantasy Black. Oooooh, nice car!

EDIT: Boy I posted this and THEN read what was on the previous page. I feel like I have a ****ty car now. (Porsche Cayenne, Mitsubishi 3000GT, Maserati?!)

My car is attached.

Well, Seeing as I'm pretty much paying for my car, I'll be getting something in the range of a 300ZX 2+2, Benz C36, or something of that sort.

Well, after the selling of my past car, and spending last week searching, my new car will coming in 2-3 weeks. You'll see her very soon.

As of now, I drive a 1988 Volvo 740 Turbo wagon. It has an aftermarket boost gauge and a Turbonetics "Dial-a-Boost" manual boost controller. It's not fully functional, unfortunately.

Baseline boost totalled a bit over 7 psi or about 0.5 bar and that was good for about 160 horsepower (stock). Now the car is putting out closer to 9 psi or 0.62, good for approximately 180 horsepower. A noticeable increase, but not quite where I want it. Tomorrow, I'll have to change where the controller is bleeding the boost. I want 13 psi or about 0.9 bar which should deliver about 200-205 horsepower.

20hp is a nice jump for 2psi, I remember when my Skyline had the stock two stage boost controller the difference when it went from 5 to 7psi was quite alot.

Is 13psi safe on the volvo's with standard turbo, as I know alot of factory ceramic compressor wheeled turbo dont like it much. Also be careful of detonation if it occurs, its a killer.

Oh yeah! It's definitely a noticeable difference.

Quite safe. There is a built-in fuel cut-off built into the car from the factory. It was designed to shut off the injectors or the fuel pump or something if boost pressure ever went beyond approximately 13-15 psi. The stock injectors and pumps are more than capable of handling that amount of boost, though. 16 or more would be pushing the turbo beyond it's efficient limits from what I've heard.

Also be careful of detonation if it occurs, its a killer.

Thank you for the tip. :) I've heard horror stories of people "throwing" connecting rods, melting pistons, and blowing head gaskets... so when I'm adjusting boost I do it VERY slowly using very small increments.

I drive a 1987 Mercedes Benz 300E, hence my name. Car in pics isn't mine (no digital camera or scanner) but it looks 99% like it. Mine is a slightly lighter shade of blue and i have a EU plate on the front instead of the stoopid chrome one.
