Quite safe. There is a built-in fuel cut-off built into the car from the factory. It was designed to shut off the injectors or the fuel pump or something if boost pressure ever went beyond approximately 13-15 psi. The stock injectors and pumps are more than capable of handling that amount of boost, though. 16 or more would be pushing the turbo beyond it's efficient limits from what I've heard.

I wasnt worried about the engine as I'm sure it would have a problem with 13psi, I was just more concerned with the turbo itself (If it was a ceramic compressor wheel turbo). It looks like you have done the research on it so have fun 👍.

Do you have those AMG Monoblock's? (I want to say 17s), If so, they look great on that car.

Yes i do have the AMG Monoblocks. 17x7.5" AMG Aero II Monoblocks to be exact. To my luck, they were already on the car when I bought it! I dont have the money to shell out for AMG wheels! (or tires)

Nice! And yeah, those are expensive new. (I'd just get ASA's)

I have got rid of my SEAT last week, tomorrow I'm going to pick up the keys to a Peugeot 306 1.9 Turbo.

Awesome. Congratulations! Do you think you'll be able to post any pics of your new car? I hope so, I like Peugeots.....

I was gonna take some pics of my SEAT Ibiza last week after I polished it up nicely and blackened the bumpers but by the time I'd finished it was dark. Couldn't be bothered the next day...

Day after that it threw it down coming back from work and now it looks worse than before I polished it :( Got some days of later in the week but if anything I'll be changing the oil. Still maybe I could take a picture off the engine with its Porsche badge ;)

I love high power 4 bangers. Very sporty looking ride! 👍

I suppose it's time to post my latest acquisition:

It's a low-mileage 1994 Lexus GS 300; great condition, just a few scratches here and there, but otherwise in pristine condition. The CD player doesn't work, but that's nothing an iPod can't fix.

One of my favorite Giugiaro designs. 👍 It was so influential in the midsize sedan designs, but not many people noticed it. :indiff:

1976 Ford F-250,
shifting into 3rd gear is maddening.

It starts 95% of the time, and that's first time you turn the key. It always starts after a few tries in that rare 5% of the time (usually when it's cold, when my chances of getting it started plummet).

It runs well, with a new muffler, rebuilt carbouretor, new spark plugs, new belts, etc.

Haven't figured out why it spews smoke now when I start it, but it's probably a warped exhaust manifold.

1991 Honda Civic SI (EF) - black
Engine: ZC DOHC from Japan
Power: omg... dunno.. Never been on dyno yet.
Tuning: AEM cold air intake, ractive exhaust, 2½'' exhaust line, RAYS Volk Racing TE37 black wheels, eibach coil-overs, koni springs.

I bought the car already tuned but I bought the wheels. I'm planning on working the body for rust, and I'm checking for a b18c1 (Integra GSR) to swap the car. I already found some garages that could sell me a brand new c1 for peanuts, so I need to have the money...

No pictures yet... I dont have any digital camera or camcorder :(
