Just updated both my times.

Tuned - 1:36.889
Stock - 1:49.286
Overall - 3:26.175 (9th)

Sixaxis controller, no TCS, manual trans.

Could you possibly post replay? I'm not on your server but would love to see lines etc as i'm about 0.7 off your tuned time using a DS3

Tuned 1'37.551 (hoping to reach 1'36s)
Stock 1'50.739 (hoping to reach 1'48s, I know needs work hey...)

Currently 142nd in UK

1:48:081 with the standard 370z

but i am not happy with it,.. today i was 10 times or more on the run to get a 47.9 or 47.8. i screwed everytime with those fu**ing screen lags and framerate downs.

furthermore is my next problem the missing roof view.

That's what's killing me most. Having to get used to the first-person view is a nightmare... makes too many of the corners blind whereas the roof cam would allow you to spot your apex perfectly... so it's down to trial and error in the first-person view for me as I try to tighten up the last part of the lap.

I hadn't played Prologue in well over a year before this... way more out of practice with the G25 than I thought. 11th place with the stock car on the US leaderboard... still lots of work to do. :)

Great time struppi:tup:, im sticking to the normal car for a while and then when i hit my absolute best ill go back to tuned and do same with that rather than keep switching, 1'48.5xx so far in normal, an ok time in tuned like 25th... overall im 9th though for GB.

This will possibly be my last update.

Stock - 1:49.013
Tuned - 1:36.889
Overall - 3:25.902 (10th)

I think I have found the limits of the controller. Knocked a couple tenths off my stock time, but just spent 50 laps (at least) trying to beat my tuned time and only came within a tenth of it. So unless another controller player gets ahead of me in the overall standings, I'm thinking I'll just enjoy the demo for what it is and continue patiently waiting for the full game. :)

👍 Impressive times. What kind of button layout do you use??

R2/L2 = Gas/Brake
X = Shift up
[] = Shift down

Those are the main ones controls. I use the left analog stick to steer.

And for those asking for a saved replay, I don't have the ability to upload one, since my only computer source is my netbook.

those are awesome times for the controller. I just got 1'39'933 with the default but I'll change it quite soon to what you have. good to know because I thought I was the only one using the controller! phew!

OMFGoodness, I just had a lap I didn't even think I was capable of in the Normal road car.:D
1'48.698

That rocketed me back up into 8th overall, 10th for the Normal road car leaderboard. I'm almost 5 tenths behind 7th place overall, GTP_aussienicko (cudos for those times).

Did I mention Dan is now 8 tenths ahead of 2nd best Mad94d? Admittedly I had to follow him to achieve my times :guilty:, but in this new lap I think I was actually beating him by a few hundredths until the back straight.:scared:

Found one of "those" laps mate............

I'm still trying to find that lap..... the road car is where it's at for me gaining some time, i reckon i'm at the limit in the tuned.

Ok I lied. :D

Stock - 1:49.013
Tuned - 1:36.587 (ahead of GTP_CarlPKY by .001 sec)
Overall - 3:25.600 (still 10th)

My times:

Tuned: 1'37.131 (TC1)
Normal: 1'49.398 (TC a mandatory 7 for some reason)
Overall: 3'26.529
(3rd Overall in Ireland)
Six-Axis controller (sticks)

How do you cope with the throttle distribution? I'm talking about the way the top 30% of physical throttle seems to control half of the throttle output - in other words, very sensitive near the top! I can't understand why it's not an even distribution.

Great time Paulie;) To be honest, i don't like chasing peoples ghosts much, too distracting, but i do watch others replays quite alot to discover new techniques and such, keep up the good work;) Improved my normal car time to a 1'47.862. Splits from memory for both laps

Normal
T1 xx.147 (PB xx.103)
T2 xx.513 (PB xx.423) (Kart no.38 told me he did a .2xx split here, absolutely astonishing! its a shame no one will see his laps:tup:)

Tuned
T1 xx.023 (PB xx.892)
T2 xx.223

Sorry I couldn't remember the full split times, but you get the picture, split times are very important in discovering new techniques, and finding out what works and what doesn't, cheers

I know exactly what you mean, and I just try and be as gentle with the throttle as I can. I am also using higher gears in some corners than everyone else to help control wheel spin and it allows me to get on the throttle harder.

Fantastic time Paulie! 👍 Congrats.

Great work too Dan, your pace is just insane. I will have another go tomorrow to try and claw some time back, but I don't think I will be gaining 0.8!:scared:

Recently did a 1'36.263 in the Tuned 370Z which puts me at an 3'24.764 overall time, and P4 on the overall rankings. :)

I only tried this combo once... but im impressed:tup:! Nice job man! Have you been out lately??

Spent most of my day hanging out with family. Have been trying to get higher on that list for the last couple hours or so. I'm gonna watch a movie now, change my real cars motor mounts tomorrow, then try to knock a few tenths off the normal car time. 👍

For me it's the other way around, I have about 2 tenths to go in the Tuned car but won't even bother with another go in the Normal car except maybe just for fun.:)

Thanks.:D
Yeah, 0.8sec is a big ask for anyone.:)

Great work Nick

i cant get any quicker with the tuned, its really bugging me. im happy with a 1.49.3 with the road car.

Im on a 1.37.2 with a DS3 but i know i can go quicker. But the throttle control and steering inputs are crazy hard to get right. I feel I've hit a flat spot anyone got any tips to get some pace back??? and anyone else feel the same????

Spoke too soon, it appears that DEVIE has already beaten my stock Z time and moved up to P3 bumping me down to P5. :grumpy::lol:

In case anyone is wondering, that means that GTP currently holds the 1-2-3 rankings in Australia at the moment.:)

Man it's a bloody warzone out there at the moment. Go away for a hour and you've dropped a couple of spots!
