Everybody should be testing to the same location to measure equitably. Try the Atlanta server. It has one of the biggest pipes in the nation. Not even certain Chicago's is better. Either way if'n ya'lls is gonna' compares yer interwebz's speed peen, you should all test to the same location, then post them screen shots.

Must admit however, Owens' and RPH's upload is effin insane. What do you all pay to get that upload rate?

Normal price through Commiecast. Around 40 bucks. Supposed to 16 down but we are close to a man tower so they say our speeds are faster.

I tried their upgrade and didn't improve anything. so back to regular speed. Again it never changed. LoL

Being a bit anal. I installed all new lines and splitters when I moved in here a few years back. Recently upgraded router and modem. Wanted wireless n and my modem was older.

It's real. I don't think it's FIOS, just cable as far as I know. I can't host, because I run my PS3 wirelessly, to avoid cables running through the whole house.
