Which tire compound do you want to use for the season?

When do we start? I just realized this little thing called "summer time" might be on the way... :irked:

The entire Phoenix team hasn't showed, so there are empty seats.

On my way then... BTW the only car I have ready for Indy is a 2011 #83 Toyota if that's ok?

Well, knew I wouldn't make at least one race at some point. Just a bit too early for me to make sometimes.

Niop takes it after RPH and I take each other out coming to the white flag. I held on to second, although I'm still winless at Indy. Spurgy completes the podium to pad his points lead.

Worst imaginable finish for a good race. Good thing I got the top 5 finish I promised to myself after hooking up with the JGR team though.

FYI, the replay only confirms it. Yera completely ignored the fact I was coming up, apparently expecting everyone to run single file above him at the last turn for some reason...

Lap 17, racing incident. And if anything, Tom was the one who came down onto me. I drop back for Tom regardless and he should have easily been able to stick with the pack but his setup was too tight and ended up losing the draft.

Lap 51, may have been my fault. I probably made Knelly go as low as he did. However, if you watch the replay, I wasn't on the throttle all of turn 2. I tried to stay behind Knelly but he was going much too and really left me nowhere to go.

Lap 60, you guys tell me.

FTFY :)

The curse of the 2010 Red Bull (only winless car) lives!!

Also Tom, you need to let off more when you are spinning. On lap 51, everyone was checking up and you drove into everyone full throttle -.-

When you dropped back I slammed into Jammy when he hit the wall so I basically lost you all.

Meh, tonight kind of reminded me why I stopped racing in the first place, didn't enjoy it at all.

Sorry if I didn't check up, was probably because I was pissed off and forgot.

If my maths are right, taking into account drop rounds, I have a 2 point lead over Joe :dopey: Not taking into account drop rounds, I have a 22 point lead :sly:

Honestly, the main difference between this and Motegi is that at Motegi, we were able to not wreck.

Maybe Knelly should be the third car in your train next time 💡

Btw, where exactly has Niop taken Indy? We may need it later in the season :P

Tom, I like racing with you. Try this......don't worry about it. Don't race just to win. Think about me for example. I have raced in this organization for two years and I have no wins. I don't even care if never win. I have fun no matter what. Just take it for what it is and move on to next week. Here's what I do to keep it fun: just show up n race, don't worry strategy n tuning, you should already know all the tunes n strategies by now. There's nothing more to it. I hope you stick around Tom. Peace.

Likely going to be a Warning or two, and possibly a couple of penalties after the Indy race. Just need to count the laps.

What i did :scared: I did catched the pack and you could followed me but you left behind by yourself (lap 17-19).

Results:

1. Niop (pole + lap led)
2. Mule (lap led)
3. Spurgy (lap led + most laps led)
4. Furi
5. Carb
6. RPH (lap led)
7. Knelly (lap led)
8. Jammy
9. Yeratel
10. Crazy
11. Tom (lap led)
12. Lout (DNF)
13. Neljack (DNS)

Furi and Carb both get a warning for jumping the start. They went full throttle and plowed into the back of everyone in front of them before Niop crossed the line. You cannot go full throttle until the leader crosses the start line.

Yeratel gets a warning for holding up both Carb and Furi on the last lap when they had a chance to pass Spurgy for 3rd. Lap down cars are allowed to help other cars by bump drafting, but they are not allowed to impede or block any lead lap cars. We're not getting into this again like with kartman in SC.

Both incidents that resulted in Tom spinning were racing incidents. On the first one, RPH got more than a nose inside of Tom, as Tom came down to take the low line RPH was completely off the gas to try to lay off, but it was too late.

On the second one, RPH dives to the escape road to avoid Knelly, who again was coming down to take the inside line after RPH got a nose inside. RPH did not touch Knelly, or anyone else for that matter, and held his line on the escape road. Knelly on the other hand, took an extremely low line on the track; so low that his outside tires were on the curb and his inside tires were way in the grass. He gets loose, naturally, and this causes a freak chain reaction that ends in Tom getting slammed by Yeratel and spun around again.

I'm also giving myself a 1-point penalty for taking out RPH. I tried going inside, but completely misjudged it and drove on the grass, which caused him to spin. Even though we were coming to the white flag, it was a pretty stupid move on my part, and I'd probably give a penalty out if it was someone other than me who did it, so it's only fair to give one to myself.

Tables will come later.

Cheers Ken, you too man. I'm trying to take it casually, kind of lifts a weight knowing that with the amount of races i'll miss I can't win the championship anyway. Just trying to help my team and have fun; hopefully next week will be better.

And yeah, I guess Smuffy will be in the 20 next week as I don't really want to race at the road courses.

EDIT: Oh and Mule, y'know that block you put on Spurgy on the backstretch, last lap; was that legal? I'm not trying to incriminate you here or anything mate, I just wondered since my memory of it is a tad hazy and it looked a little crazy because we touched the grass I think.
