My nationwide car was one full second off of the pole time at indy because I didn't care to tune for a pole I knew I couldn't win. I qualified slowly in race trim, and moved up the starting grid past the drivers that had to exit the track to change out of their qualifying setups.

I started mid-pack, got to the front quickly, ran my race, and won.

Should I have not been in the race because I didn't qualify fast enough?

If I was in that race I would do 1 pitstop like you and pass you on the last lap.

I've expanded my stats sheet for season 3. At the end of this season, we will have the following stats:

Career Overall average finish (42 total points races)
Career Regular Season average finish (27 total regular season races)
Career Chase average finish (15 total Chase races)
Career Oval average finish (28 total Oval races)
Career Daytona average finish (12 total Daytona races)
Career Indy average finish (12 total Indy races)
Career SSRX average finish (3 total SSRX races)
Career Road Course average finish (14 total Road Course races)
Career Monza average finish (3 total Monza races)
Career High Speed Ring average finish (3 total High Speed Ring races)
Career Suzuka East average finish (3 total Suzuka East races)
Career Exhibition average finish (6 total Exhibition races)

Why is the start time at 6pm EST? I thought they only needed it one hour later till the end of March?

Career Monza average finish (3 total Monza races) - And I think you should hold off on that one, S1 only had 3 drivers. I know you always debate that with me. But that one is undisputedly lop-sided as the three drivers that raced obviously could win podium. I think you need to count it like that if there's 4 or more drivers. As top 5's are way less relevant.

I had the times changed at the top, but not in the part where it says "next race." That was just an oversight, but it's fixed now. 👍

Don't worry, the Boyce and I both finished poorly last season, so our numbers aren't even going to top the board. Akmuq, who was credited for third despite not actually starting that race (disconnected at loading screen), hasn't ran at Monza since, so he will be in the one-start only stats, which no one takes seriously.

I guess I should treat his third place like I did with other guys that showed up to a race, but didn't actually run it. Credit them for the points that day, but not for starting or their final result. This would definitely help Joe's career numbers, if we can remember the exact days he disconnected BEFORE the race started.

This would definitely help Joe's career numbers, if we can remember the exact days he disconnected BEFORE the race started. Did he try to make every race?

Looks good

Yeah, Joe showed up nearly every week for the Season 1 Chase, but disconnected from most races. When he disconnected before the race start, I still credited him with last place so he could get some points, in the hopes of keeping his championship hopes alive. If he didn't show up at all that day, he didn't get any points.

Looking back, I'm 100% certain he disconnected before race 12 and race 15. I think Joe started race 13, but disconnected on the first lap, if I remember right. I'll definitely remove Joe's results from race 12 and 15 from his career average finish stats.

In S1 it was only chase races that I disconnected from before the races started (I couldn't make Suzuka East though). Indy mid-season was a disconnect towards the end of the race.

My S2 disconnections were all mid-race (or at least one or two laps in. I think one or two disconnections were before the end of lap 1).

See post edited just above yours. I forgot to refresh before editing my post. :ouch:

Well once you have the spreadsheet updated, send it to me so I can correct anything I need to on my sheets. Thanks

Damm. I knew the laps lead was close, but over 200 laps that could hardly be closer. I hope I don't regret that point later on.

As the laps kept dwindling down, I thought you guys might tie, or finish within a single lap of one another. If you watch your last pit stop, you came in too fast and got reset. This put RFLX in front of you, but MULE beat him to the line by around .06 seconds. Had you not reset, you likely would have led one more lap. You still would have been just short of ACDC by lap 200, but it would have been really close. For future reference, if two (or more) drivers tie for most laps led, they both (all) get a full bonus point.

Was going to ask about the tie. Yeah it was the only reset I had, and if only I got that first lap :sly:

Niop hit pole and believe was a .49.xxx. Maybe a 48. Can't check replay right now as daughter watching Wizard of Oz.

Crazy, you had the fastest lap if I remember correctly. It was something around a 46.0xx. Did you save the replay?

Could have this totally wrong but I think I hit a 45.0 at some point, getting pushed by Niop and catching massive draft. Will check out later.

Do need to start saving them though Crazy, can't be Stato without the stats.

You and Crazy both had a 46.0xx, his was just barely faster.

I have the replay, haven't watched the replay yet and am at work with nothing better to do, so I was updating stats right now. So I was hoping someone would know. I know I hit 45.5xxx and Furi hit a 45.3xx, so I'm sure we set some new records. I can always pull up the fastest lap tonite. But I do need to know if the Pole Time was a new record. I don't believe it was.

Maybe you are right. I think Knelly and I are refering to the Bud Shootout were we did hit low 45's

Pole was 48.907

Cool 👍 Just put that in my spreadsheet, New Record Pole Time!!

Sorry for the DP

Here's the entire spreadsheet, for anyone that wants to use it.

Ryan, you have smuffy listed twice on bottom bracket for Ovals. You need to add them up and move him up to 2nd bracket. Just letting you know there was an error.

And here, I provided side by side comparision of Oval Avg Finish next to Oval Rating. Can you please clear up some of the number of starts we have wrong, like who is wrong and who is right.

Yeah, I'll double-check it tonight.

My first guess is that you counted guys that didn't actually start at Indy (five guys credited as tied for 12th place) and counted Furi and Dowhat as starting in the season finale, even though they had replacement drivers. Any time you see a red number in the point standings, that means the driver got credit for last position, without actually starting the race.

Cool n notice how the ratings n avg finish almost show the same orders too.

Is this for just the Sprint Cup or both the Cup and Nationwide?

No just sprintcup. I will be doing stats for nationwide, those will be released around all star break.

Fixed the numbers for Smuffy, combining his two entries in the Oval section and moving him up out of the one-start group. He was also listed twice in the 1-start group in the Indy section, which has been fixed.

As for the other guys, these are the numbers I have. If you can tell me what race you have them starting that I missed, that would be more beneficial. You can see every result I have listed, and I can't see your complete stat book.

My updated stat spreadsheet is attached below.
