I can help you out. :)

Which GT-R record are you referring to though?

For what its worth, anyone wishing to get some help in GT5, just flick me a PM.

Happy to help with just about anything I guess.

Many thanks to paskowitz , I improved my GT-R time by 26 secs and improved the track experience. 👍

With Fryz helping out, this would be an alien driver development center soon. :sly:

Your contribution is appreciated, I'll handle the DUIs after. 👍

That's awesome, if you're on right now, I'm already doing a few laps on the ring, you're welcome to join. :)

I've updated the OP with links to each instructors profile, so it's easier to contact them. I realized that without links, people would get too lazy and won't bother with this at all. :dopey:

Thanks Hollow. I've helped a few out as well. Having links should make it easier for all involved.

Once again, great thread. Glad I can help teach.

Thank you Hollow. Just as a heads up, I will be willing to give lessons to any area of racing as well as my original drifting lessons. Don't be afraid to send me a PM or leave a message on my profile if you want lessons 👍 .

Me and Priesty just went through a Laguna Seca Session.
Went pretty well, I don't know exact numbers but I do think I got him from a 1:48.xxx to a 1:38.2 with a bad Sector 3, so we will do in depth with sector three next time.. 👍
Successful 1st go!

Yep,

Was running laps earlier this evening,

Have a whole new perspective on Laguna Seca, my times weren't the fastest but there faster than what I'd be normally running.

Gonna take awhile to get fully used to SH as I normally run SS so effectively it's 2 lessons in 1 but there will be longer term benefit so I'm gonna stick with them.

Been a while since I've had a decent session too so im a bit rusty but overall I'm happy with what I've picked up.

Thanks man!

Hope it helped, you were understanding the line it was just car control by the end of it.. The moment you can have a controlled & fast slide, you will be fast on that track.

Do you take suggestions?

Something good to teach could be "Protecting yourself from rammers, rude, or too-eager drivers in public lobbies" Could be knowing what to do when someone divebombs into your line, or when you brake and the person behind you makes you a pinball. Stuff like that.

Think of it as driving for the president?

If someone could teach that it would be awesome. Had someone ram me on the last turn and lost 1st.

I like to think that I'm pretty good at staying out of trouble and predicting people's movements. I generally run on all the alternative racing lines, especially for getting the power down earlier than the guy in front and generally it seems to work. So if anybody would like some help with this area then I'm more than happy to help the best I can.

Then it could work, have the student face two or three dirty drivers and teach the person to fend them off or outspeed them or how to properly fall behind to prevent tragedy.

A week of Dirty Shuffle should teach you everything you need to know about avoiding bad drivers.

No problem man. It was my pleasure.

If anyone else wants some help with the Nurburgring, send me a PM. My services will not be available for some time after September so get it while you can.
